I've read around those times, both fiction and fact and studied the battles of the period. Morning all. Gamesblog: I switched on the PS4 yesterday, but only to grab the Skyrim mod list. Which then inadvertently scrambled scamander’s poor mind. TVblog: some baking thing. Sugar Rush is it? Yes. That. Amigablog: new Sweet Content in the works. May be up later today. to think we once talked about the value of a bound bow early in the game, and where to find one. I'm still waiting at the lover's stone. Sigh. |

Amipal's latest stuff is up! First two games I had for the Archimedes. The weird ufo game had no explanation. It was a case of flying and crashing. Conqueror was loads of fun though. |

Clearly showing what David Braben was up to between Elite and Frontier Elite, it looks as if he was using virus as a testbed for the solid 3D ship models he'd use later elsewhere. That virus ship is an almost dead ringer for a Frontier Elite viper.

Hi, Games: Tried to like Starwars Fallen order, but its just terrible. The sliding down a hill mechanic is completely excruciating especially when you have to jump on to a rope at the bottom. absolute pish. Also any kind of jumping, theres one bit where you have to jump across onto platforms with strong breezes that completely make me feel like I want to murder the younglings and embrace the darkside. I did all this to trigger a memory of how to force push, Id forgotten apparently. Not worth it. So Im sacking it off and keeping my fingers and thumbs fresh for cyberpump 2077 Yeah I didnt like Jedis Falling Over either. I got told it was the new KOTOR. Wellthatwasalie.jpg |

Many thanks for all the well-wishes for the Pref.Mam. He's still in hospital, having tea and biscuits and waiting for the evaluation of a chest scan. Apparently all patients have been given mobile phones because they can't have visitors, but either he hasn't figured out yet how to use it or he's forgotten his home phone number. Or both.
He's been transferred to a different ward, so I've spent the whole day on the phone finding out where he is and trying to get information. The hospital phone system is very sophisticated and once you phone you are presented with two options: 1. the phone keeps ringing but no one is answering it and 2. it is permanently engaged.
Contrary to Sheep's assumptions I have not been playing Animal Crossing all day. I have, however, watched Into the Spiderverse for the first time as it's not a film I could convince Mr Tent Rooster to watch, although it's even better than I thought it would be. Manifestly in the upper quarter of the banana.
Today I was sent a picture of my grandtwins next to the family's downed Christmas tree, one of them on the floor and still holding a bauble after an unsuccessful attempt to scale it. I'm just a bit surprised that the tree lasted almost a whole day.
BabyF's documentation of his Skyrim journey yesterday reminded me of my own noob experience when I first attempted some smithing in Riverwood. The view switched from first person to third and revealed that my Dragonborn was in her bra and pants as I had forgotten to equip any clothes. I was, however, wearing a helmet. Safety first! I realised that for a good while I had been running around like this and talking to people who didn't bat an eyelid.

Tower night - smashed. I forgot how to cheese it with the soul arrow so actually had to fight them. If anything I’d say it was too easy. Top banana.
I can’t remember how to do the thing in 4-1 where you jump over the rampart. I think it doesn’t work on my massive 4K HDR TV. Too many Ks, massive input lag, impossible.

DEAD. KARKED IT.
First attempt.
I did what any honourable Temple Knight would do and stood just inside the fog gate and shot arrows at him.
Two bosses in two nights. Sweet.
Sheep2's 'two blue eye knights and three archers' health collecting method is a real help. MASSIVE. It's almost like he's played it before.
Now where next? I've done 1-1,1-2 & 2-1.
