So Oz the Insane only sounds mad? And he's come back from the future to guide us?
We're really fucked...

Hello
Some time ago I ordered one of my wife's presents from Amazon. Tracking showed it shipped from an Amazon facility in France, travelled to Rochester, departed Rochester then disappeared. Tracking recorded it as Delayed In Transit, then Presumed Lost.
Yesterday I ordered a refund as no direct replacement was available and ordered a similar item which is due to be delivered today.
I have now received the refund, Amazon have notified me that the original item is now out for delivery between 10 and 2pm. The replacement is also at the local depot and due to be delivered today.
Assuming both arrive do I notify Amazon that the original has turned up and go through the hassle of sending it back, or keep both?
A moral dilemma.

Hi. I'm busy sorting out travel arrangements for next Monday. Then, I'm going actual physical shopping (urgh). OTTM: Watched ep3 Fallujah - seemed fine to me, although I had seen it before. Destry Don't ask me, I avoid Jeff like the plague.

Been dead to me since he became AVFC manager. The rest of the world is just catching up.

The refunded item was fulfilled by Amazon so I'm assuming that Jeff takes the hit for 'losing' it and not the supplier.
Then again Jeff's records will show both items as being delivered. He might send the boys round if I don't do the right thing.

Assuming both arrive do I notify Amazon that the original has turned up and go through the hassle of sending it back, or keep both? A moral dilemma. Not at all. You must have missed the "no take backsies" clause in the fine print of Amazon's returns policy. It states that Amazon employees don't need the hassle of dealing with this, either, and that Jeff is already the richest man on Earth and wishes you a merry Christmas. In case of your conscience putting up a fight against this decision it recommends batting it down with the drink of your choice, available on Amazon.co.uk.

OTTM: Watched ep3 Fallujah - seemed fine to me, although I had seen it before. It might be the next one then. I think I have PTSD from watching the series.

Morning all.
Gamesblog: nope.
TVblog: The Office.
OTTM: had a word with the roofing boss this morning, as where the ridge lines meet is wonky. Relieved to see that they’re already sorting it. Oh, and the Indian lads aren’t back. Seems to be a gang of old-school British roofers today. This means shouting at each other, site-radio bellowing, and the occasional breaking into song.

He might send the boys round if I don't do the right thing. morning The delivery man/woman can sometimes get charged for the delivery not arriving. That said I would wait until both arrive to make sure you receive at least one intact, then send back the unwanted to make sure they don't double charge you. edit: Most likely the delivery person was running late on that evening and put the item into the delivery rotation bin back at the warehouse, that or it was sent to the wrong warehouse on arrival in the UK.
