Morning,
Finally got a chance to have a go at Cyberpunk. It's good!
I did have a few issues with objects not loading in like a van I supposed to shoot at. The occupants in the back couldn't be seen as the van was just a grey block on wheels.
Also my default virtual penis is satisfactory.
That is all.

I bought a Tenda MW12-3 Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi System, Tri-band, 3 Gigabit Ports 3 cube dooberry so I stop getting the occasional dropout in signal in the belltower or the south wing. My mate who is a Virgin (megafibre expert) and me set it up; it involved changing the primary cube/hub to the same SSID/password and router besides a lot of sucking teeth. Alexa hubs x3, Alexa devices x6, PCs and my Bose smart speaker connected to the internet, but there were problems with the printer and we couldn't find the ethernet socket on the printer in the S wing - I says - I'll fix in morning. Like fuck I will, I've downloaded the printer manual, found the port buried INSIDE the printer and connected it to the secondary cube/hub by cable; reset it, rebooted and set the bloody thing up again. (I've been at that for a month because it kept dropping wifi, which is one of the reasons for the mesh). It says it's operational. BUT it won't scan to the PC nor will the PC print to it - "offline" it says... I am now crying with frustration - printers are cunts; that's just science, but this is fucking ridiculous... So I decided to do some chores in the kitchen and wanted to play some stuff off my PC; so I fired up the Bose SoundTouch app and ... "your speaker is offline"... Little Baby Jeebus save me. I am now pretty sure that although the primary cube is WLAN connected via an Ethernet cable to the VM router, and both have the same SSID, the pull connections yanking stuff downstream from the net to anything are fine, but that the push connections to/from the PC won't work to the printer and speaker won't work because the PC connects via the TP/Link gigabit ethernet hub, which is connected directly to the VM router NOT the mesh; and the others to the MESH.

tenthenemy I love you dearly, but don't, just... don't. I just need a quiet corner in a nice padded cell to think on how fucking ENORMOUS my karmic debt must be...

Morning.
My Aunt has the Rona and is really under the weather with it and my Gran's nursing home is rife with it so she's confined to quarters. Switzerland on the whole is terrible with the virus now due to the ridiculous decision to keep the ski resorts open.
Anyhoo, a bit more Cyberpunk and Black Books.

Otherwise on the PC Add A Printer settings it may be worth entering the printer Wifi password on one of the settings (Wifi direct or something similar).

That is rough; I hope that your Aunt gets better. And thank you for the suggestion... and the printer has been working fine for (cont on page 94). I'm handling the stress of losing 3h out of the day very well ...

Chumbles. If I'm under standing this >> So you renamed the mesh WiFi the same as what your "old" WiFi was and gave it the same password? Then put the virgin hub into modem mode? Does the new mesh WiFi use the same encryption as the virgin superhub? No doubt WPA2, but does the new gear do mixed mode WPA? Have you tried using wps to get the stuff that's not connecting to work? Does the printer claim to have the same IP under the new regime? Goes on with stupid suggestions for 94pages...

Lunch? Oatmeal biscuits, greek yoghurt, diced peach and a Magnum (ice cream, Tids, calm down) not unpleasant unless this is the 40th time you've eaten it in 2 months; Peptic Ulcer Perils and the Dietician, playing in a stomach near you ... I have their latest on repeat

Woo tier 3! Top banana. Even more excuses not to leave the lodgings.
HDM - television programme
Catching up on Mandalorian - top banana. Got to the one where baby yoga's name is revealed.
You get these tier people don't you, tier 2 this, tier 3 that. Sometimes you just want to say sod it, give me a picked horse egg poultice and I'll be fine.

Chumbles . If I'm under standing this >> So you renamed the mesh WiFi the same as what your "old" WiFi was and gave it the same password? Yes. Then put the virgin hub into modem mode? VM Engineer said not necessary Does the new mesh WiFi use the same encryption as the virgin superhub? No doubt WPA2, but does the new gear do mixed mode WPA? God knows. Have you tried using wps to get the stuff that's not connecting to work? Not an option. Does the printer claim to have the same IP under the new regime? N o, PC can see it, but can't shake it's dick. The printer is connected via RJ45 cable to the secondary hub which is definitely connected to primary. hub Goes on with stupid suggestions for 94 pages... I'll pass the above on when VM Engineer drops in after work... For what it's worth, I think unplugging the TPlink 8 port hub RJ45 from the VM router and plugging it into the MESH primary will solve the problems - effectively this will be the same as "put the virgin hub into modem mode?", but I have run out of time and I have entered disgraceful degradation mode (getting stuff done).
