I've been to Hull town centre. It was nowhere near as grim as I was expecting.
Very disappointing, passing judgement on a place based on nothing but irrational prejudice, only to find out it's not actually a post apocalyptic wasteland.
Edit: that is to say, I have previously been to Hull town centre. Not that I've just been there this morning.

MORNING!
Games, as per my post last night, messed up the 5-1 boss, Leech boy. Then farmed 80,000+ souls as I wanted my magic up from 6 to 10, so I could get spells from the Geek bloke I rescued from the prison. This is what the internet said I needed to do to get spells anyway.
Lunch, chicken and Mushroom King Pot Noodle with added dark soy. All the sodium.
Weather, atrocious.
OTTM, nope.

No communication today from PM stuck in hospital, which worries me because yesterday he mentioned that the two other blokes he shares a room (or 'bay', as they call it) with were having a hard time because they both had caught an infection. I was assuming that he was talking about lung infections, since he's on a respiratory ward. Last night I learnt from a nurse that in fact they've both come down with vomiting and diarrhoea, i.e. most likely norovirus, and that the room is basically condemned for 24 hours, with Pref.Mam. in there who was the only one who didn't have symptoms. Triffic. Looking on the bright side, at least it wasn't an outbreak of Covid. I just hope he can dodge that one. Last night I watched the Smash Bros. Sephiroth presentation, which started with Sakurai sitting in front of a poster of a shirtless Sephiroth. Once I was able to stop myself from swooning I enjoyed the presentation very much - right from the start they crushed the hopes of those annoying "Geno for Smash" people -, particularly the new arrangements of FF music. I had not realised how much the image of Kirby after inhaling Sephiroth had resonated on "The Internet". This one, by @shiburingaru321, is one of my favourites  and was published before Sakurai actually used three hapless Kirbies to demonstrate the damage the Masamune can inflict in the game. 4 stars. |

I had to call round and tell him how cool it was. I hate myself now and my failed life that hasn’t put a Tesla outside my house.
