Thank you! I've just managed to get through to a nurse and luckily he's dodged the norovirus. He's still a bit low on oxygen, but it's no longer such a big deal. He was hoping to see the physio today to help him getting out of bed, but that hasn't happened and they don't work weekends. Hopefully Monday, but he's going to find this terribly frustrating. It's starting to look unlikely that he'll be home by Xmas, but I'm just glad to hear that he's okay.

Hope he's feeling better and home soon Tent Hen. Have you caught up on various TV shows/Films that Pref.Mam. doesn't like? Meanwhile I've also talked to him over the phone. He's just bored out of his skull. He's promised me to think about reading material/radio/audio books that I could drop off and not be so worried about me getting a taxi to do so. I've mainly been watching YouTube because suddenly I don't feel like watching that stuff. Being free to watch whatever I want takes all the challenge out of it.

Hello. Last night I watched a documentary about the killing of Andres Escobar. Harrowing to see how the mid 90s has now turned into a distant historical period recalled only with the assistance of grainy footage. Like how my dad can remember the war, I can boast to the next generation how I can remember Euro 96 and the Happy Mondays. The stuff about Escobar getting killed was harrowing too obvs.
Today I turned on my vacation mailer as a massive Fuck You to The Man. What a feeling.

The Flamelurker is no more. What a fight.
I'm in pieces here. Shaking like a leaf. Started Tunnel City at about 5pm. Only stopping for beer and toilet visit (amateur, I know). Just beat Flamelurker!
Or should I say Lamelurker, amiright?
Back to the Nexus, they'll be no more blood shed tonight.
*takes valium*
GOAT. No doubt.

Flamelurker is a fantastic fight. Did you go toe to toe?
Purple flame shield and bait him round a pillar.

Purple Flame shield yes! My hand hurts from holding down L1. No baiting round pillars though, it never occurred to me. Lots of panicking and rolling behind him and getting 3/4 whacks on his backside, then roll/run away, eat grass and repeat. I used a fair portion of my healing grass. That is, I'll be making a few trips back to the Tower Knight grass farm.

FFS. Stress sandwich tenthen. Glad he's avoided the Winter vomiting so far. I hope he gets home for Xmas - but as you say not looking great. Sorry to hear that. Forced myself out in the rain for a run tonight. My phone just changed run to fun. It wasn't fun. But obviously I'm not trying hard enough when exercising as I was able to swear loudly at some clown who left his drive without putting his lights on. TV. More of Tehran. Games. No. But going to shove Tomb Raider on for a bit as the PM has just gone to bed. MrTiddles That Forza is 100GB or something stupid on my laptop.

tenthenemy - rubbish news; Xmas in Hospital is weird; well, it was in '13. Useless advice: Tell PM to ask the PTs for calisthenic routines for the muscle groups that are involved in standing / walking; failing that get him to tense each set of muscles against each other. When I was bedridden in hospital for most of 9 months (slippery floor, dressings on feet made them size 17HH, so no possible footwear), the PTs refused to assist* so I made up my own calisthenic routines. When I got home, because the bed was delayed I had to stand, walk around after that period ... it works, but he will have to be disciplined. * their exercises, worked the iliac P.S. dressing off and the nurses got v pissed off with re-dressing the pressure sore every 2nd hour - 'never piss off your nurses' principle won - Physiotherapists refused to treat because I stopped that arse crunch.

Today's (oh, yesterday's) procedures were the pits The first procedure has left me with a great deal of pain; my right big toenail had buckled and the nailbed was forcing the toenail completely away so that it was making a bid for freedom ... The podiatrist was very apologetic because she had to cut virtually all of it away, and with it some of the nail bed hence the additional morphine and now pain. Which is why there was so much blood and rubbish. Which I had to clear up after, with feet clingfilmed. And then the second procedure, scrubbing the extensive ulcerated area including the nerve ends and removal of skin from both legs, was tiresome. It is agony, tbh,so I have to take yet more morphine and sleep... so that's why I have been quiescent. Melvazord : This cheered me up a bit!
