Sad news, my long term female PM friend's mother just passed away last night. She was 94 and had dementia, a lovely lady. life sucks. Condolences. Its a shit thing to happen any time, but always seems worse this time of year. Port Out Starboard Home Wotsists After Noon Kures Even Reflux I’ve lived by these rules. Apparently that POSH etymology is a myth. The other one sounds legit tho. Most of those "well known" ones are backronyms. Chav is not "Council House and violent " Ned is not "non-educated delinquent" Its all invented by the *laboured asthmatic breathing* "actually..." *pushes glasses up* saddo crowd. Yes, I understand the irony of me making this statement.

Have you heard that Christmas song by Robbie Williams and Tyson Fury?
Weird. But I woke up with it in my head this morning.

Something has changed in me. Something has slipped.
I feel I have lost an essential part of my humanity. And I didn't have much in the first place.

Mrs Fark tried to chuck out my tie rack and ties the other day, reckons "I don't need 100 ties anymore". Luckily I stopped her. I like ties. I've still got some of my Dad's old ties. Massive paisley kipper jobs. I've never had the balls to wear one.

I've taken late delivery of a Tunnocks advent calendar. 24 caramel wafers and one teacake to eat before Friday. Hell of a way to end 2020.

“If nothing changes, we will start to see gaps over the coming days on lettuce, some salad leaves, cauliflowers, broccoli and citrus fruit – all of which are imported from the continent at this time of year,” said a Sainsbury’s spokesperson.
If they hadn't announced this maybe people wouldn't be fighting over the last lettuce leaf.

A shortage of tenderstem? How will I cope?
MrsC wrapped the Christmas presents today for my family as they're getting handed over on Wed.
I now need to write some large print very basic instructions on using a kindle for my mum's partner. He doesn't have internet so I've preloaded it with a pile of books. He's a two minute walk from a museum with WiFi so I'll talk him through getting more on it some time in January. Hopefully January.
