Hello,
First day back working, while Mrs F deals with the home school situation.
I started watching a film last night called The Wandering Earth. Chinese sci fi. Not really sure what to make of it to be honest. Sort of Interstellar meets the Day After Tomorrow, but not as good as either. I fell asleep before the end. I might watch the rest of it later.
No games.

I’m up to level 10 on The Witcher - and finally met the Witches in the bog - nice take on the hag, the mother and the maiden by presenting them as Hag, Hag, Hag.
The more I play this the more worried I am about it’s politics.
I’m getting to the point where I’m not sure I want to play any further.

Here we are, all the lads.
Back to work today, by which I mean sitting in the study.
We received an email from the school yesterday to confirm that the boy won’t be going back til 18th January at the earliest - eat that, Boris.
Gamesblog: no.
TVblog: Star Trek Discovery, and I discovered I was two episodes behind.
Now only one episode behind.
Amigablog: the boy and I had a session yesterday. He drew in Deluxe Paint, played Buggy Boy, and also played a Disney educational game featuring Mickey Mouse.
Later on in the evening, I dived back into BlitzBasic. I’ve decided that this year, I will code at least once a week, get my head back around it all again.

I forgot my work password so spent ages trying to sort that out.
Games: Cyberpunk - I have hot upon a set of missions which are then broken down into 20 or so identical parts which gets a bit repetitive.
Telly: Expanse and Black Books. Also re-watched the Hans Solo film.
Weather: Bit of cloud and sleet.
OTTM: I miss laying around drinking and swearing at the telly all day.

Morning all!
Tech question. My new resolution is clearer work/life boundaries. Accordingly I am getting a new SIM card/phone number, and intended to distribute it to those lucky few I consider friends and not the colleagues who've got hold of it over the years.
However, it looks as if WhatsApp is immune to such tactics and a new number will somehow port over so all your past correspondents can see it. All this auto connectivity makes it hard to disconnect from people. Anyone know how to do this without having to permanently do without WhatsApp?

Back at work today. Well, wfh.
Youngest at primary school today. Oldest (secondary) still in bed. The next nearest primary did a u turn at 6pm last night and closed.
Film, watched The day after tomorrow last night.

Without two devices you can't afaik. If you have their number on your phone AND what's app them they can see your what's app.
{Edit}Unless you delete the what's app backup from your Google drive etc. I think. But even then - if you have their number stored I think you appear on their list.

RollingEscargotIf you delete the what's app backups from what's app/ Google drive etc before you delete it you *should* be ok. Get a free SIM from another network and try first before putting the proper new SIM in
