Can Trump actually visit? We're shut.

I suppose dodging jail is pretty essential

I don’t watch Doctor Who, but I think that if Jodie Whittaker were to leave, Matt Berry would make an excellent timelord.
Particularly if he played him in the guise of Greendale Community College professor of grifting, Roger DeSalvo aka Jeff Goulash aka Philip Switch aka Baz Ravish.

Greta as the Dr, think of the options. Failing that Roland Rat.

I havent watched Dr Who since the guy with the long scarf, Tom Baker, and then Peter Davison, when I was a kid. I then stopped being a mentally feeble man baby and played computer games instead.
I think Scamander has nailed the potential new Dr's, but might I also propose Steve Coogan as Alan Partridge.
Ah ha!

I might bite into a piece of cheese as if it were an apple. I'd like to put on a pair of festive antlers but I neglected to purchase any.

I suppose it will mainly be a matter of taking down the tree and eating half a tray of Sainsbury's No-Pork Belly Bites.

Milkman chat! Mine failed to turn up this morning. Which is a problem because the last delivery was on Thursday and already contained Saturday's delivery because of the holiday, and now I only have a third of a pint left which frankly isn't enough. We've had milk delivered in glass bottles before she was even born, so take that, Greta! However, this recent lax work attitude from the postie and now from the milkman is worrying. Brexit now!
Later this afternoon I have a hospital appointment. Back in December they sent me a letter telling me that because of the pandemic my appointment had been cancelled and replaced by a telephone consultation this afternoon. Then I had to phone the hospital before Christmas to get more medication and was told that I had been sent the wrong letter and that the appointment was fact face-to-face. I will show up in person but have a bet with myself that they are going to be very surprised and weren't expecting me.
Brexit now?
Yesterday I listened to the hour long recording of Trump pestering the Georgia Secretary of State about the election results. An hour of Trump's voice is pretty grating, but what makes it worth it is that you can practically hear the eye rolling at the other end.
Video James: A lot of ACNH, and a major breakthrough when I got the recipe for the gold armour off Zell. You know what that means: giant robot, baby!*
Today I will also attempt to make the last perfect Snowboy for the Nook milestone and then be able to erase and build over the paths.
* not you, Baby. I mean, you too, but not you specifically, just in general.

Tenth Enemy
If you take your laptop you can zoom call your doctor from within his office. A meta physical examination.

tenthenemyI had an appointment at the hospital last year which was supposed to be a telephone-based one. Both me the chap in front of me had been sent the wrong letters. Had a face-to-face consumption in the end, but it had necessitates an hour’s drive to get there. Best of luck!

We should have Christmas until the 2nd of February. That was stopped though, in the Victorian times. Big Work Ethic.

I went out for a walk on Christmas Day in Hyde Park. I thought I would find a Dickensian scene: Festive promenaders, merry makers. Strangers bowing to one another, with wishes of 'Merry Christmas'.
A man wobbling his belly like a bowl full of jelly would not have gone amiss.
But not so.

So I'm on my phone. It seems that BT has crashed locally so all the Internet systems are down. Oh joy. I now have to wait for 6+ hours to get back online. And I can't link my tablet because the battery is dead. I also appear to have an intermittent fault with my Hub. ( taps foot in the direction of the Internet ghods)

Finished Fenyx Rising, really enjoyed it, the puzzles were quite inventive, scaled the difficulty down though as after a while the enemy were becoming bullet sponges* and a bit tiresome, I also enjoyed the story which is unusual. 4*
*no bullets but arrow sponges doesn't sound right.

I went to a mountain town in Poland once, in February. It was fantastic. The local people said it was 'Christmas until the snow goes' (or that may have been paraphrased to me). And the snow hadn't gone. It still felt like Christmas.
