Is it ok to hate leather trenchcoats but like right wing views?

I mean, if you hate Greta, and are flying from Britain to Europe, then the right wing view will have more light and sun. Or maybe you hate Greta, and you're flying to Canada from Britain, and want a better view of the artic regions. I like a right wing view.
As for leather trench coats, I've only ever owned one, and I think it would be best to count it as a youthful indiscretion, and admit that I hate them now. I think I'd seen Star Trek Generations, and wanted to look like Malcolm McDowell's Dr Soren.

It's pretty impressive. If you don't look at the words, you can also hear "grain store" or "grave stone" (or any combination of suggested words) reasonably easily. Stephen Pinker (and others, I'm sure) has written well about the work the brain has to do (and learn to do) to interpret language, and how sound isn't really a thing, it's all about how our brains interpret it, and are trained to interpret it. Chinese speakers of English really struggle to ennunciate the difference between l and r. Similarly, English speakers struggle with the Irish tr and th, and with every slightly unexpected phoneme from all other languages, generally. If you break the sounds down that people actually make when they talk, they sound little like the sounds we hear when we listen to a sentence. Jesus fuck, I'm a boring cunt.

The sibilant at the start of storm is really fucking me up though. I can't hear it at all in needle. It's just gone. There's not even a hint of sneedle.

Just watched Captain Marvel, which I enjoyed the first time, in my re-watch of all the MCU films in the run up to Wanda-Vision and it was even better, lots of details I missed the first time around and a good film. 4*

Hello, flooring has been laid, I had several beers to celebrate. Today I need to put the skirting back, and just generally finish the job. I hear Clifton suspension bridge calling...

Hello. Not so cold here now and the rain has washed away a lot of the ice/snow.
Games. Tony Hawk's. Good fun though my scoring is still quite low. Might start using the spare ds4 instead of the bone controller.
TV. Spiral.
Busy day with chores and cooking. Home schooling starts tomorrow.

Hi!
Last night's lamb curry was outstanding. Slow cooked for 3 hours. Today I'm making a MASSIVE lasagne for tonight, with enough for another meal at a later date. Probably tomorrow.
Jims, I downloaded and started a cute little platformer from PS Now called 'Seasons After Fall' where you are a fox. Lovely stuff.
OTTM, going for a walk in a bit to get some fresh air, exercise and get us out the house for an hour or so. Stir Crazy approaching.

So do you get to raid henhouses and go chasing after chickens and shit? Is there a tense fox hunt level where you have to escape?

Speaking of leather-trenchcoats, where’s RobLindsay these days?
Hello all.
Gamesblog: no.
TVblog: two episodes of The Expanse, and things have kicked off BIG TIME, as some might say.
Amigablog: fun and games (or not as the case might be) with alternative file systems. That’s my entire Work partition knackered...
