Hi! Last night's lamb curry was outstanding. Slow cooked for 3 hours. Today I'm making a MASSIVE lasagne for tonight, with enough for another meal at a later date. Probably tomorrow. Jims, I downloaded and started a cute little platformer from PS Now called 'Seasons After Fall' where you are a fox. Lovely stuff. OTTM, going for a walk in a bit to get some fresh air, exercise and get us out the house for an hour or so. Stir Crazy approaching. So do you get to raid henhouses and go chasing after chickens and shit? Is there a tense fox hunt level where you have to escape? End of level bosses, Boggis Bunce and Bean.

Hello, Loads of phone calls with friends and relatives over the last days. Pref.Mam. has got into the habit of phoning from hospital at 6:30 a.m., including this morning. I love talking to him, but I had to gently remind him that half past six in the morning is not my best time and asked whether he wouldn't mind phoning after he had his breakfast. The good news is that he feels fine and that apparently he's no longer on supplementary oxygen. When I last visited him I brought along a little DAB radio alarm. Unfortunately it needs to be plugged into the mains and there's only one power socket that's occupied by his mobile phone charger, and he's paranoid about unplugging and potentially losing it. So I'm now looking for a battery/solar panel/wind-up radio that I can send to him via Jeff Express. He's been cut off the news, e.g. he hasn't seen any of the footage from Captitol Hill on Wednesday yet. Luckily every day they are bringing a newspaper into his isolation bubble. Unfortunately that paper is the Daily Mail. Maybe it's time to sue the NHS. Ganes: no concentration for anything but pissing about in ACNH, though the Monster Hunter Rise demo is currently downloading, after initially crashing the eshop. OTTM: Noticed that "Stop the UK" was trending on Twitter. Yes, please, and can I get off now? Turns out this is a new petition " Stop the UK from allowing EU-banned bee-killing pesticides to be reintroduced" that I signed immediately, because, as someone put it so eloquently in the comments Or, to quote Nicolas Page on the subject

We were briefly cancelled. Trump still looking for an alternative to Twitter, huh?

That sounds positive Tent Hen, except about the DM.
I kind of assumed Trump was already a 'boxer covfefe. He wouldn't even be the biggest monster on here.

Excellent news tenthenemy - be patient with your PM, night nurses will have done their usual bustle round at 5 a.m. pre-handover - by 6.30 a.m. he's sooo bored he's looking at patterns in curtains to count how many times the badly drawn bird with the broken wing appears and trying to estimate the distance between each by dividing that number by the estimated area of the curtain ... I had no-one to call; I got the yacht, the clocktower and the weird junction between Princes Risborough and Wendover done. Thank god they weren't plain curtains* *I was in there for most of 9 months

Good morning, I got up early today and went for a run. It was slippery and a bit cold.
I have spent much of the rest of the day building lego.
No games.

That all sounds positive Tenthen. Can he not download a dab radio app for his phone? That's not very tactful Faceless. Now Tent will have to explain the phone is a Nokia 3310, and even that stretches Mr Tent Rooster's technological ability. Although even basic Nokias usually have FM using the headphones as an aerial.

Im sure the government will do the correct thing and not destabilise our entire ecosystem just so farmers can save £1.20 per annum.
Oh no wait, the opposite of that.

Hospital chat, hope everyone is getting better. Grandparents visits didn't usually end well, covid rules were happily out the window for my mum and her sister to say goodbye to their mother, masks etc worn but people limits were relaxed. Work is now saying masks in buildings but disposable in labs, seems a bit odd swapping masks to enter a room.

What is this technical wizardry, this Nokia you speak of? Oh no, this is Mr Tent Rooster's mobile phone: A sleek little black number (with more numbers, such as 1, 2, 5, and even 9!), the Doro 1370 is a state of the art 2G, Easy-to-Use phone for the technically challenged gentleman with a fancy colour display and a 3 MP camera. No internet, no FM radio. From time to time he gets a bit confused whether to press the red button or the green button to answer the phone, but not very often.

Its getting biological scientists to fucking wear masks in the communal areas in the first place we had problems with. I literally sneered at one lass who ripped hers off her face and screeching "I can't breathe in this thing " Did ye, aye? I had a job for 3 years that required wearing a close fitting face mask for up to 4 hours at a time. You can wear yours for 30 seconds to walk down the corridor you stupid twat.

Cool gadget, I would say does it come in black but I can see you are already ahead of that curve. And it looks like it has a torch, I like torches - at night - when you need a pee - or you're outdoors cleaning up after Mr.Tiddles.

Work with biologists in mostly a chemistry based system, I mean lung fulls of hexane and acetonitrile are good for you? The fact that it's coverings in most areas but masks in labs seems an issue, people have trouble hand washing and one person managed to take radiation on their hands home years ago. It's not proper ppe, if it was all done and sent across site that you have to wear one of their covers that's fine but everyone can bring their own so balaclavas all round?

Earlier, Crawley Town 3 : Leeds Utd 0
Now, Die Hard 2 : ITV 4
Both entertaining in their own right.
