Well to round off a perfect day I have emailed the wrong person and caused a data breach. A leopard never changes it spots. I hope the leopard gave permission for you to publicise data about its spots. I would not recommend Wiley Fox phones. I had one that was bloody awful, and kept turning off and going into secure mode with a scary message. Refurbished is a good way to get a phone, from both a cost and an environmental point of view. You definitely get environmental brownie points for buying a refurbished one.

Thanks to Felice and Baby F.* In other news, I finished watching 'The Night Manager' on iPlayer. Not recommended by Tids Corp. Utter balderdash. *crosses names out in 'the book'. Woah, Tids. Woah! Just to clarify Amichops, was that was for The Night Manager?

£100 saved Tids. Sweet.
The child is now playing Minecraft on the iPad. I had seen if she was interested before. "Nah boomer" was the vibe.
Kwai Kunicorn on kids YouTube suggests it on the other hand...
Welcome to parenthood crank.
{Edit}I'm informed it's Kawaai.

Meant to say. Thanks for the sciatica advice earlier folks. Will pass it on.
I was going to get some CBD balm and try that but the tens machine thing might be a better idea.

Is smarty not the new giff gaff? I have Smarty. No complaints, 30GB of data for £9 a month (PM also has it, so get a 10% discount each). Coverage is pretty good.

Now watch "Ichi the Killer" a harrowing tale of school bullying in Japan.*
*may not be entirely safe for young people.

I enjoyed the Night Manager, notwithstanding the fact that the entire cast went to Eton. JLC's cameo was a high point.

So, it's not enough we gave the EU our virus; now they want our vaccines. Brexit now. So they "spent billions" on research with AstraZeneca ... err, no, point of fact that was orders. Research is centred in the UK branch of the company and Oxford Uni. The UK for once got it right and the EU done fucked up. They centralized the certification and made provisional orders contingent upon successful certification. That took the EU 3 months longer than the UK, because the one thing the commission does well is bureaucracy. Unsurprisingly the companies making the vaccines prioritize actual orders over potential orders. The EU is now trying to bully these companies into illegally diverting orders to satisfy their belated firm orders. Their most effective weapon is bureaucracy in the shape of export controls and permits applied post hoc. Overlooking the dubious legality of this maneuver, the insanity of adding logistical delays, and the clear breach in its commitments to the WHO, what companies are going to set up shop in a trading area where the EU is prepared to change the rules and laws and apply them retroactively?

I'm quite impressed they haven't actually approved the vaccine yet. They are strongarming Astra-Zeneca to supply vaccines that are technically illegal to use in the EU (until Friday at least).
It's also the case that the EU negotiated a better price by waiting until the results were clearer and placing a larger order.
And the contract almost certainly has a best efforts clause which AZ will say they are compliant with.
Obviously the situation is not ideal, but the EU is covering itself in glory. It's remarkable that they have made the UK approach look sensible and reasonable.
Incidentally it would be better to negotiate with the UK to ask us to release some vaccine so that high priority EU citizens can be vaccinated ahead of lower risk UK citizens.

I'm watching Color Out Of Space on Bezos Prime. I've not read Lovecraft's short story, but apparently it's the color purple and not the color of money.
