Yesterday's visit from Nursey was late and my left leg looks like MrTid's shotgun had been inexpertly deployed (which is how I can be sure that Nursey was not MrTiddles 'Master of Disguise'). The damned thing is infected again so I asked Nursey what next... Apparently NotMrTids has to ask permission and fill out a form to take swabs from the smelly, manky, weeping bullet holes before they can even take them to my GP's surgery*. The upshot of this is I was out of it most of yesterday and have a ton of stuff to do today so won't be in much. *(Where it has become de riguer to require you to wait in a telephone queue for approximately 35m to be told that this time your lucky number didn't get you the chance to speak to a doctor today - try again tomorrow at 8 a.m.)...  Like fuck. |

One of the people I know from my Radiohead perverts website died at the weekend. Not known to be ill or anything. Just found keeled over by his wife. Not sure how old, but I'd guess 40s or 50s. I didn't know hi particularly, but he seemed a nice guy.
Thought I'd just add my little bit to the jollity.

Thought it was a bit grim with all the news being 100,000 plus. Seems remote when it's just figures but hearing about person stories makes it much closer to home, condolences to everyone.

Shenguin turned up at the end of the last one to watch. Obviously I won that one
No wins in duos.
My best effort was having to be rebooted and also revived in one game. Four stars

Sorry gongfarmer that's dreadful. Work is very busy. No games. WebEx staff meeting there and a zoom bookgroup as support this afternoon. I've not read the book so will be keeping comments to the minimum. Or maybe not, go full partridge. The pm lying on her back to avoid damaging the dislocated shoulder has flared her bad lower back which is probably sciatica caused by an epidural. She's in more pain from that than the shoulder. FFS. |
