AMR has been going for years, it's fun to follow the migration of specific strains spread across the world knowing it can't be stopped. Didn't the papers do a bit on super gonorrhoea the other year? Also raw organic dog food is great for getting bugs resistant to every antibiotic. Nothing bad ever came from zoonotic diseases in the last year and a bit right? Games, run out of money in jurrasic park so all the Dino's escaped, then the guests sue. Ooof. Let the Dinos eat the guests. Stops them suing you. Pancake tips:
1. Decent frying pan (solid iron - le creusot brilliant).
2. Chill the batter
3. Heat pan until it's just before smoking. Add a knob of butter, whilst it sizzles get batter, ladle into pan and swirl once so batter coats surface. Leave until edges show brown (about 45-60 secs).
You can now flip; drop the pan edge furthest from you, flip that edge up vertically, aiming for the pancake to rise its width plus a bit into the air. Once you get the knack it's easy.
4. Put pan off the heat and wipe it with some kitchen towel to remove bits.
For me, these are the basics of pancakes.

Yeah, the people who bang on about AMR are the same doom merchants who bang on about preparing for a pandemic. As if this stuff ever actually happens. Along with climate change, it's just another way for the loony left vegans to attack our proud British Farmers who feed the nation.

Crumpets for breakfast, crepes for lunch. Scotch pancakes for tea and a buckwheat galette with a hot egg for dinner.
I’m having none of these. My real weakness is for the pancakes with tinned fruits and ice-cream you used to get from Little Chef.
And I’m not having those either.
