I was going to have a curry, then I asked if perhaps some Scotch pancakes could be picked up from the shop, as a sort of token amuse-bouche.
We now have some vegan pancakes. I haven’t started cooking the curry yet.
The polar axis of my evening has shifted.

Hi
Work is extremely busy.
Lunchblog, Baxters Garden Vegetable soup.
Tea/dinner blog, jacket/baked potato with Tuna n' cheese, no pancakes/muffins as I'm not a big fan.
Pancake day memories, Dad used to make two types and only two. 1)Lemon (jif squeezy type in a 'bottle' shaped like a lemon) with sugar. Or minced beef, like the base of a cottage pie. Both were nice. Not sure the effort of the mince beef was worth it, maybe it was his tradition. I don't know.
No games.
Going to watch some European cup football.
Might put God of War on later.

Pref. Mam. gave 9/10** for the roasties and mushroms and 7/10 for the chicken.
Devastated.
Should have done the chicken as a shish kebab and got some burnt stuff on it instead of baking it.
*Home cooked
**8/10 is good will do again, 7/10 or 7.5/10 is nice could improve.

Mince beef Findus crispy pancakes are top 5 childhood GOAT food. I think they've been zapped by a shrinking ray these days though, based on trying some a few years ago. Still nice, but you need four minimum.
