Boiler's gone now. Still, I am assured by the Gas Company that they will be here in 2 hours to fix the issue. They had better be. This is unfortunate. It's not so bad in the total scheme of things. I have no experience of the Gas Company, but I am assured by Sakeena that they will be here.
[EDIT] They won't.

Afternoon all. I went to the butchers this morning, and returned with chicken breasts, sausages, eggs, a full-chicken, and a steak and kidney pie in my rucksack. 4* After lunch (the aforementioned steak and kidney pie), I built a facsimile of Benny’s spaceship from The Lego Movie. I’d have liked to have spent more time getting it closer to the one in the film, but, alas, it was a joint project, and compromises had to be made. 4* Did the butcher have a beaming ruddy face, as he hacked up the meat with his cleaver? Was there any indication of a dog being in a position to make off with a string of sausages? I have just eaten a toasted cheese sandwich, with mustard and sauerkraut. A fleeting visit to Flavourtown. Delicious. I’m now lying down to promote maximal absorption of anti-biotics.

Bacon sandwich. Hot. Brown sauce for dipping. Tea in a mug.

I have a window for coffee - generally between 10.00 and 13.00. At other times it’s tea. Except between 18.00 and 5.00 (early rising permitting).
I could do with a cup of tea now.

I am exclusively a tea-man.
I did used to enjoy the ol’ mug’o “joe”. But after it exacerbated my dicky-ticker, I said “no more” to coffee.

I appear to have injured myself. I can't put any weight on my heel. I tried going for a five mile run, to see if that sorted it out, but surprisingly that seems to have made it worse.
I'll try booze. Hopefully that should do the trick.

No sign of the gas engineer. Shit's about to get real.

Boiler trouble is a bad business. Hope it gets sorted, Tiddles. This morning I had to pour a whole pint of milk down the drain because for some inexplicable reason the foil top had come off the bottle it as it was standing on my doorstep. No stars. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/feb/19/alaska-woman-outhouse-attacked-bearI saw this story last night. I've heard horror stories of rats in toilet bowls, but this is on a different scale. Is this what happened to Toolio? Cheese muffin with ham & cheese for lunch.

I mean, what are the odds?

Hello. Ottm. Had a communication from Chumbles. He's alive, feeling *slightly* better "surviving" but his eyes are bad. TV. Started watching that Superstore a couple of you mentioned. Also watched spiral when the pm went to bed as she's sacked it off. Usually such things I watch on the commute but it doesn't take that long to get into the living room. Games. Started Ocarina of time while waiting on the child to go to sleep. But I was tired and closed my eyes for 15 mins instead. Wet and windy out. Like Tiddles cat. Thanks for the Chumbles update. I always worry. As I mentioned last night, I'm currently following two LPs of BOTW. One of them is also parallel running a LP of Ocarina of Time after he caught the Zelda bug. I had totally forgotten how little Link always shouts " CR*P!" when he attacks. At least that's what it sounds to me. Now you won't be able to unhear this. Your welcome. (Top tip for OoT: always get info from Navi when you are targeting a new enemy. Many players forget about this feature in the heat of the battle.)

I was hoping for nintendo to announce a re-release of OoT and Majora's Mask. Guess I'll have to settle for Skyward Sword, which I've heard is a bit shit.

Boiler trouble is a bad business. Hope it gets sorted, Tiddles. Britsh Gas did phone me, trying to sell me a smart meter. No dice. Where is the engineer? I have no heating or hot water.
LyingBastard:" I have just spoken to her, she will be there before 5pm. I will also credit your account with £30 pounds for a missed appointment".
[EDIT] Guy has just phoned me, he'll be here in 15 minutes. Very deep voice, manly.

Rolling's terrible opinions, continued.
I watched Wolf of Wall Street for the first time the other day. I did not enjoy it at all. It seemed to think it was hilarious, in a disagreeably presumptious way.

Hanging around waiting for men on a Saturday evening? That's more socializing than the rest of us are allowed. Best pasta bake recipes? Covid means more home made lunches than work canteen.

Hi! I'm still technically alive!
Just platinum Ghost of Tsushima. A 4 star game.
End transmission.

Melvazord! What's the deal with Ghost of Tsushima? Generic open world busywork, or something with a bit more substance?

I’ve been trying to picture this and I can’t.
So the toilet lid was lifted and no bear was seen. Then there was the bite / swipe and it’s hideous visage was revealed. But where was it? In the bowl of the toilet? In a hole inside the bowl?
I can’t see it.

I fancy watching a British World War II film tonight, one set in North Africa.
Any suggestions?
Not Ice Cold in Alex. I’ve seen that recently.
