Morning all!
Filmblog: last night, the PM and I decided to watch a film. But first we needed to pick one... lots of scrolling through both Prime and Netflix offerings.
In the end, we went with Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Both of us had only ever seen bits of it.
I’ll say one thing: that Spielberg can direct. 4*

Played some Forza 7 online with Crank, details are a little hazy. I do remember him firing a tremendous volley of raucous beer burps into my headphones at one point. Poor sportsmanship.

Curry. Yes.
Booze. Yes. Jackhammer. 7.2% and there may have been a little jackhammer in my head when I awoke.
Games. Forza 7 with MrTiddles on the racetrack. I was terrible. Don't drink and drive kids!
Also played a bit of the first bops on the laptop with my sweet new (to me) mech keyboard. The old finger wiggle taking a bit to get used to again.
{Edit}splutter. That was one of the Germanic lads I think you'll find. I mean I was driving a sweet 1973 Porsche 911 at one point but it wisnae me!

Hello. I had 3 small tins of beer last night and now I have a hangover. I'm sure it used to take at least 4.
Watching an Icelandic cop show called Trapped on Amazon. It is genuinely excellent. 4 stars.

Hello, I also had some sweet delicious nourishing beer last night.
Was it a struggle to get up this morning? Yes. Do I need more than the normal amount of coffee to get me going? Also yes. Are last nights events connected to this? Almost definitely not.

I mean I was driving a sweet 1973 Porsche 911 at one point but it wisnae me! It's race 1 and the chequered flag drops. Tids starts braking for the first corner when a sweet little 911 RS rams him up the arse.
Didn't even get to the first corner...of the first race...

Anotherfilmblog: just finished watching The BFG, another Señor Spielbergo production.
Pretty good. The boy was truly rapt by it, laughed his head off during any scene featuring whizzpopping. 4*

BFG is certainly one of the better films we've seen at the cinema when the kids were younger.

Another beautiful sunny day. Although the temperature is plummeting now. Pottered in the garden, mainly raking and some sitting.
OTTM, we allowed the kids to go to the co-op, crossing three roads, unattended today, for the first time. This was a big worry for the PM. It's mostly due to the parking/double parking that make crossing roads slightly worrying, even though it's only 10 mins each way, but they made it back with no fatalities. A red letter day and no mistake.
No games.
