WandaVision still really good, lots of backstory last night with other plot points explained, all they need to do now is stick the landing.

I also watched WandaVison. I haven't seen that many of the Avengers fillums though so it's not really doing much for me.

Morning
C&VG - reinstalled GTAV but didn't play it. Downloaded Surviving Mars from PS Now. The text on screen was that small I couldn't read it, nor could I see how to make it bigger, so I deleted it after 5 minutes. Sean Murray has a lot to answer for.
Films - Creed II. Review - it was alright.
OTTM - making pork vindaloo (goan style) later, all the vinegar, garlic and chillies.

Morning all.
Thanks for making me think of food. Need to get some chicken lumps out of the freezer for sweet chilli chicken stir fry tonight.

I, for one, am glad that Tuffers has decided to regrace us with his presence.
Glad? No, that should say mad. Maybe sad.

Morning.
Yesterday was the day of the funeral. Somehow I got through it because staying in bed and hiding under the covers apparently wasn't an option. We had told everyone to stay away and promised them a memorial event at a later date instead, so we were only three family members in attendance with the rest watching online. All three of us had been in quarantine beforehand to make sure that it was safe. We were told by the celebrant and the funeral director that they need to keep strictly to the half hour slot for every service because they have to clean everything between services and they get fined if they overrun. I feel that our small group was very easy to look after, but the lot after us were definitely pushing the 30 mourners limit. In a small chapel without ventilation this looked as if it had strong superspreader potential.
Got home and collected my mail, which included a letter from the NHS confirming that they've recently remembered that it's probably bad if I get the 'rona. It promised me that my GP would contact me soon about vaccination. Since my GP hasn't exactly been proactive I opted for making an appointment at a vaccination centre. So tomorrow I've got a date with the sharp end of a needle, with the second vaccination in May. I just wish that the timing had been different and my PM had been given the chance to live.
The grandchildren had been parked at the other set of grandparents and the whole family swung by and collected a number of items, including a rocking horse that is apparently a huge hit with the twins, although I can only see them pushing each other off it. Maybe that's the attraction.
Played some Animal Crossing and watched the Sony State of Play as well as the announcement of Breath of the Pokemon. I'll take all of it. I need distraction.

Oh, and day before yesterday my new passport arrived. The photo should be enough to give the thrillseekers at border control a decent fright.
The German embassy also kindly included a Brexit brochure to answer all my burning Brexit questions. From what I hear that's more concern and care than UK authorities have shown to Brits living in the EU. I'm so lucky.

I'm not reading all that wall of text tenthenemy. I'm just going to assume you were banging on about Animal Crushing again, and then I'll maybe make a fish pun. I have neither the time nor inclination to try to write anything supportive to any 'boxers that might be having a really shit time of it recently, or to offer sympathy for those facing the toughest times imaginable. I'm just too much of a bastard, and don't read any posts in this plaice anyway.

Hullo. I've done nothing of note today, nothing. I'm going to have a thorough shave this afternoon to redress the balance. And a drinky.

Which order, could lead to some interesting results. Are people still doing lockdown haircuts or just waiting for June?

Gamesblog: my friends are talking about a new W’hammer 40K game called Dakka Squadron. It really reminds me of Warhawk. And now I’m tempted to see if that is still up and running...

tenthenemySounds like it went as well as it could have under the circumstances. One of the most unkind things about all of this is folk not getting to say goodbye properly to loved ones/friends. Horrible. Also glad you're getting the Jag.
