Still no serious snow here, just friggin' cold. Nabbed a grocery delivery slot so that we are not going to run out of staples like bread and bog rolls. Decadent end time shopping.
Skyrim chat: I beat the boss of the aptly named Bleak Falls Barrow. The game's weight restrictions forced me to do my own version of teabagging to defile his corpse; after looting him I unloaded all my junk on top of him so that I could walk again. He lies where he fell, covered in tankards and soup ladles.
Did I mention that I don't like the weight restriction in this game?
Then the narrative moved on and I gained the ability to shout. This confirmed my impression that the guards are idiots.
Whiterun Guards: You should try to shout! That would prove that you are chosen!
Me: *aims carefully at an empty spot so that nobody gets hurt, shouts*
Whiterun Guard: *stumbles into the frame, keels over dead*
Me: Oops.
Whiterun Guards: Yeah! That was great!
At least I've now earned the right to buy that house in Whiterun. I'm still short of money, but I'm filching all the small change from everyone and everything I kill. I'm possessed by the thought of house ownership. If I had a house I could adopt Lucia and be a good mother to her, and what's more, I would finally have a place to put all my useless junk! Which might turn out be useful after all, how do I know! And every time I do something the Jarl presents me with another token of his gratitude and it always weighs a ton! You bastard! Now I can't fast travel and got to schlep this all the way to the shop to sell something else, thanks for that!

Snow Days are for the weak and feckless and a sure sign that this country has gone to the dogs.

Been to Sainsbury's. Morons everywhere bulk buying prunes and sugar and all sorts. Arrived back with two bags of shopping (mostly prunes & sugar) and now I have to dig out the drive. I concur with baby about being at work. Especially as no-one is in.
Bought an Easter egg.

University called off today. Have already dug out the path and a run for my parent's dog in the back garden. Live across from a chemists and the number of people walking on the road is mind-boggling.
Retro gaming galore yesterday. Completed sonic / streets of rage / super hang-on / dessert strike. Makes me feel that I'm not as useless at gaming as I really am.

Morning - Day 3 working from home. I've never been so busy... something has gone wrong
Hot sausage sandwiches for lunch - greasylicious!
Had to defrost 2 pipes this morning before 6.30 so my bath would empty. Feeling has yet to return to my toes.

Had to defrost 2 pipes this morning before 6.30 so my bath would empty. Feeling has yet to return to my toes. Why are you having a bath at that time? Showers are for the morning. Baths are for the evening or, possibly, the afternoon. Eary morning bathing is decadent and depraved.

Just started playing What Remains of Edith Finch. Not really sure what to make of it. Walking simulator/interactive story. Very weird.

Some of you are clearly a bit wrong minded but having a bath at 5.30am really takes the cake. Utter madness.

Some of you are clearly a bit wrong minded but having a bath at 5.30am really takes the cake. Utter madness. Or at 6:30am. Particularly when you then have to get out and defrost the pipes so that the bath would empty. I didn't think that I would have to say this after the lady with the milk bath advert, but here it is: Taking a bath: you are doing it wrong.

there's a lot of junk to put in a trunk in Skryim. If you choose to increase your stamina when you level up it increases your carrying capacity. However, it's worth looking at what you are carrying.
Anything that isn't weapons, armour, soul gems, money, ore/ingots and some ingredients you can junk. Depending on what build you are going for you will find heavy armour has the con of really eating up your capacity. I've always wanted to go for the Red Sonja tank build but it isn't versatile, I end up with light armour.
If you have lots of ore then use transmute to turn it to gold and forge jewellery. Even better if you then enchant it. You can charge more and you have the potential of levelling up conjuration, smithing and enchanting. The latter can be very useful in the later game so put some points into it.

I bathe outside every morning is a galvanised tub. If you are doing the same as Socky then you have to question yourself.

Ten - I also take it you've worked out how to open the doors with the ruby/ivory/jade claws? Took me ages and it isn't explained but you just look at the claw in your inventory and zoom in on the palm where it will have the solution.
Again, not being me you probably worked that out at the first attempt....

Funny thing about that is that I only realised that the solution is on the claw after I opened the door by trying out a combination. Some call me Lucky...

I've never played Bloodborne. Nearly bought it a few times but chickened out. Read alot about how good it is, but also how hard(!) it is. Now i don't have to pay for it!!
Unlike shotput82, im not brilliant at games, i was better but age is slowing me down. I've been trying for a while to complete streets of rage (ps3 Sega collection) but fail on the end level.
Git gud scrub etc

Ten - much quicker than me then!
Usually in someone's bedroom you might find a large pink jewel in a yellow case. You can take these, it'll prompt a mission. The only downside is that you cannot get rid of them and they weigh a small amount.
