Hello.
In honour of BDT, I've drunk some Rum and Coca-cola (is Pepsi ok?).
On an unrelated matter, could someone post a picture of Sue Barker?
Although I know she is an accomplished broadcaster with many years of experience under her belt, I simply cannot recall what she looks like and can't imagine how else I'd get to the bottom of this mystery.

I’m on bloody homeless shelter shift again. I couldn’t cycle so I had to walk 6 miles. When I got here they were already tucked up in bed.
The only good thing so far is there is some jam roly-poly.

It is the privilege - the duty even - of the night shift to eat up any left over puddings.
The guests get breakfast then get whisked away somewhere else. I don’t know where. A small part of me worries that it’s like that thing in Logan’s Run where they all disappear and never come back.

I just looked up Logan’s Run on Wikipedia. The people there get terminated when they are 21. That seems harsh, I always thought it was about age 30,which I could probably be persuaded is a good idea. 21 is clearly far too young.
