Valheim looks to be somewhere in West Central Scotland in July. Talking to my cousin a couple of years ago. They lived in Chester and would come back up at summer/Xmas etc. She said all her holiday photos when she was a kid she's in a cagoul, on a beach in Scotland, eating a chit, in the rain. What is a chit? The only meaning I know is a small bit of paper showing someone owes or has paid for something. I can imagine eating those, but it is a stretch.

Morning
PM was grotty for a couple of days after her AZ jab.
Jabber-in-chief was telling everyone to take a couple of paracetamol after the event to minimise after-effects, sage advice which PM ignored until the sweats started.
Mine is tomorrow as well so I will be fully dosed-up before I go.

I have my Covid jab tomorrow, which seems to have come round fast I'm only 40. There do seem to be a few people who have been sick for a day or two after having it. It might be prudent to take the day after off work, 'er indoors had the jab and was quite ill the following day. Not had mine yet. Why take a day off work when you can have a legitimate sickie?

A slang term for a sandwich. The dictionary of Scots Language says:
CHIT, n.1
1. “A small bit of bread, or of any kind of food” (Sc. 1808 Jam.): “the substantial dry lunch carried by a labourer unable to return home for a mid-day meal”

Good lord lazy those look like actual houses. I have a few like that but they are only ones I found in a state of decay and repaired a bit. I've been renovating old stone buildings in the Black Forest recently, and not being able to craft stone, they end up as a bit of a Frankenstein abomination. The concept of roofing is fluid.
Speaking of, I most recently found a lovely stone tower in the black forest, and set about clearing it off skeletons. That in and of and in itself was a task, and after renovating it I started getting jittery about a troll finding me while I was out nearby collecting wood.
So I headed back to my other converted stone building which was on the edge of the Black Forest and the meadows, so I could fell some trees in the safety of the meadows.
Not one minute into my excursion into the meadows, a fucking enormous troll lumbers out of the forest and proceeds to smash my assunder to oblivion. Now the bastard is just standing on my corpse while I'm stood in my lodgings in a loincloth wondering how I'm going to get my stuff back.

Build a stockade. I don't know how well a stockade will keep out a troll but I felled a tree onto one of my stockades and it just bounced off.

Happy 🍀 St Patrick's Day! 🍀 May none of your leprechauns be bots and may your pot of gold at the end of the rainbow not be guarded by Valheim trolls. Here's my Animal Crossing outfit for the day. I'm holding a green "Shamrock soda". I would have preferred a pint of Guinness. They say Guinness is good for you.

Didn't you engage in a long story to keep the troll occupied until the sun rose and turned it to stone?

Are there any goats in Valheim?
I've only found deer and wild boar so far. In my understanding a goat can be pretty effective against a troll.

Is that there Cyberpunk playable now and is it worth it? On PC it's very playable although the T-pose bug comes up quite a lot. The game is initially very impressive as it simply the best looking game ever, but the story (after a great start) does start to wane and the side missions are nothing to write home about. You will also soon learn gunning everyone down is far quicker and easier than hacking stuff. It's a solid 4 stars. I am near the final quest now and have one side quest I want to finish first.

Hello. I am listlessly pretending to work while watching some random episodes of 'Vikings' for the first time. Everything's very brown. Ffs, they just cut a woman's ear off. 4 stars.

I used to feel down on Saint Patrick. I used to associate him with policemen drinking Guinness in green top hats. I feel a bit better about him now though - now I’ve read about him and know a bit more of the ‘lore’.
Have you heard The Good News?
