Had a quick blast on Valheim. Died once as I was using keyboard and track pad. Plugged a controller in and did better, got my stuff back, built a workbench, a fire and burnt two dinners. Then built a bed I couldn’t sleep in.

I have just changed my laptop's graphics card settings for Valheim and the experience has become less shonky. So much so that I could increase the graphics settings and spy - in the distance - a derelict house to go and repair.
It's going alright.

To get all backups; my 2nd backup PC up to speed etc has meant woking through most of the last two nights. Can't remember if I posted the new rig specs, but I am trying to find a 4k display at 40-43", 16" x9" ratio... This site favours LG but it's out of date. might be useful info, it has a 16.9 ratio and 3840 pixels (and it's a power hog... energy class G; you mean well, but you'd be paying my electricity bills if the Anglo-Saxon law of the Deodand was still in force, you plonker... and this is how you do a link you idle...Sony Bravia ShiteWay too big, absolute maximum = 48"; the only candidate really, is the LG OLED48CX5LCAt least according to www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/best/by-usage/pc-monitorcrankcaller - as our resident guru, would this seem a sensible choice? |
