Morning all.
Gamesblog: Yes! The Outer Worlds, I finally got to play it. Didn’t get too far, just to Hawthorne’s ship. Oh, and I explored a Marauder camp nearby.
TVblog: The Terror and Superstore.
Dollyblog: continued to paint my Dwarf Rangers. This necessitated mixing a very dark fleshtone for skin shading, yet I only managed six of the dwarves in forty minutes of painting.

My only green hoody isn't as bright as that, though I have a sweet puma green tracksuit top thing almost that colour.

hello I played Player Unknown's Battlegrounds yesterday, on ranked. On 'ranked' mode. My rank is falling. I saw a man in one of the first games, standing in the road. It looked to me as if he had been waiting for a bus so long he'd begun to to walk out into the middle of the road to see if he could see the bus coming. I began firing at him and then went over and put on his clothes. 'Irish Fitzy' (something or other) is what the game told me he was called, but it did not give me the kill (perhaps fair enough). Who was this ghost? ... In the same game my man fell out the bottom of his own car and died ...

I came 3rd in the PUBG, the guy who killed me cleverly moved to high ground at the end to dominate the last circle.
Got a bit more Cyberpunk played too, I have Silverhand's sweet gun now. And his Porsche.

In another game of 'PUBG' my man's parachute didn't open. When he landed you could just see an arm flapping around as if he'd hit the ground so hard the rest of his body had been buried beneath the sand.
In most of the games my man expired from being in the blue electrical storm too long. Like a Saddam Hussein of the PUBG world. Tragic brinksmanship ...

I think so. It's the second time it's happened to me in a game. I suppose, in real life, people do occasionally fall out of the bottom of cars. Like when you hear of unscrupulous dealers welding old cars together to sell them on. |

So is this just for people who can't play Fortnite?
It sounds pretty similar.
Fortnite
One second place. I was one shot off winning. The winner only had 16 health left.
We had got down to 2v2. Shenguin provided a target for one of them to aim at while I shot him (The opponent not Shenguin. Tho it was tempting)
I was left 1v1 and failed to win.
None of the other games were anything like that close.

I played some Doom3 earlier. A big fight with an Arch-Vile, I think that's what it was, we didn't exchange business cards or anything. It was giving me a good kicking in and teleporting his mates in for a laugh. I ran away into a store room and 'whopped out' my BFG. He's with the angles now.

PUBGSo is this just for people who can't play Fortnite? It sounds pretty similar. It is very similar. Very very similar ... PUBG is easier on the eyes, like a nice holiday in Siberia or maybe ... Ukraine? It has a much more subdued colour scheme. And the maps are bigger, emptier. There aren't the people dressed as superheroes. There isn't so much 'mucking about'. The main difference is that you can't see where the bullets are coming from in PUBG, and almost everyone has scopes on their guns, whereas in Fortnite they come running over the hill all guns blazing. I prefer PUBG, for sure, despite being terrible at it. |

The worst thing about PUBG is that, if you spend too long playing it, you become too familiar with gun lingo. What is the best ammo? 7.62 or 5.56? I don't want to have to spend time thinking about this stuff.
The Battle Royale concept has potential. It doesn't need to be about guns ... Knights in plate armour would be much better.

I fear I am too hooked on Apex Legends to get into the other battle royales now. I tried PUBG recently but it was very confusing - so many different types of guns and ammo and very little guidance. Liked the atmosphere though.
