Books
I finished the third Peter Brett book.
There was a decent 400 page book in it. However it was 800 pages long
It's ok I suppose. A good series for lockdown if you have endless hours to fill and there is no fucking football.

Telly? Line of Duty. Also 'Frayed', which is quite amusing.
Ottm? The changing of the clocks is partly justified by the people of the northern wastelands not having to travel to school/work in the dark on icy roads during the winter months. Why does lazybones hate the Orcadians?

Well this is a fair point. And of course you were right about there being long summer nights in the northern hemisphere. But ... with icy roads and working hours, can the individual working hours not be changed? Do we need an assault on Time itself? |

Line of Duty - long ago, I watched S1 and S2. Then I gave up. Sally got peer pressured into watching S4 and when she started S5 I asked if there was anything happening that I’d missed in the intervening seasons and she insisted that each season was a stand alone, nothing to go back and watch. Before the end of episode 2 of S5 I was so furious with her that I refused to carry on.
Thank god for Covid, we are so desperate for TV that we’ve gone back and binged seasons 1,2 and 3 in the last two weeks. We should be caught up before season 6 finishes.
Monster Hunter Rise. It’s lovely to be back - some of the tutorial acceptance buttons are annoying me, but I’ve now done all the 1 star quests in the village and about ready to head online.
