Morning all.
A socially-distanced visit to a mate’s last night to deliver his 40th birthday present and card. He lives in a block of flats, so we chatted in the car park. Superb to actually see him in person.
Gamesblog: nah
TVblog: Friends... and then two very good episodes of Babylon 5. I think the first series is unfairly maligned - so much of the plot of B5 is set up in this series.
OTTM: today I have a kilo of pork in the oven at gas mark 2, cooking for hours. Rubbed in cumin, smoked paprika, salt and pepper, and with some cider in the bottom of the casserole dish.
This will provide me with ample meat for some planned lunches and dinners: bulgogi, burrito, BIG SANDWICH.

Had to Google bulgogi. Never had Korean. Looks good It’s good eatin’. A lot of recipes use a red pepper paste called gochujang. It’s spicy, but a slow, deep heat. Funnily enough, my partner can eat it fine, but really struggles with curries or spicy-Chinese dishes (despite being half Chinese herself). |

Up at the crack of dawn today, 12pm. I may leave the house at some stage yet to be determined.
Had a quick check earlier and it turns out I've only played 16 hours of Monster Hunter since I started it last week. Poor showing. I did try the multiplayer briefly the other day, it was pretty chaotic in the previous games with 4 hunters smacking around the monster, but add 4 palamutes attacking and its just constant things flying around the screen and explosions. A bit too hectic for my blood. There was a delightful comedy moment where I spotted one of the palamutes hanging onto the monster by biting the monster's backside.
OTTM - cold, but sunny.
