How's everyone?
I keep bouncing off Outriders, stuck on the first Captain since the demo and I don't have the interest to persevere with it. Instead I've been on Octopath Traveller the last couple of nights. Not usually my kind of game but I've been enjoying it. Obviously I'm still Divisioning, it looks fantastic on the Series X even on a 1080 telly. Still on THPS too.
That's about it.

Kid 1 managed to smash his lip on his bedside cupboard at 2 a.m. so that was a fun night.
Games: Bit more Metro Exodus, it's one of those games where you have to conserve what little ammo you have which I find annoying.
Telly: The Louis Theroux and the Tiger King, it was fairly dull and not his best work (I did like the Tiger King series though - must watch telly).

72 Fortnite solo wins now though.
In the right circumstances* I am ok at the game.
*Not up against someone who can shoot or build. And definitely not up against a shooting builder. Creeping up on people who are already injured and shooting them in the back is my game.

Morning all.
Valheim continues to have it’s hooks in me. Despite being a bit of a grind-fest for materials I’m enjoying the challenge of being under equipped for just about every hostile nasty I’m meeting. I have a nice fortified base at the edge of the Black Forest, and am currently scuttling about on raiding missions on buried crypts looking for enough surtling cores to get my forge and smelter working. Have taken down the first boss, but the second has spawned half a world away so I’m in no hurry.
In real life I’m doing battle with some pansies now the arctic blast has lifted a bit.

I played some games yesterday. Well - Valheim. It was good. I spent a lot of time making a house, which wasn’t good. It still isn’t good. It’s a bloody disaster. I might log back on again.
I think they’ve changed the AI in the game. A goblin / greydwarf arrived at my house with some companions after I’d chopped down a tree. I vanquished the companions but then this one goblin / dwarf
rolled the log at me - the felled tree. And I was crushed.
That is all ...

I'm ok. No lockdown for myself or the wife, who would ever have thought that concrete plants and Royal Mail would ever be considered essential eh? Bairns are back at their Unis now so we have a quiet house. Just us and the dugs. Which is nice.
Cammy will be heading off to Lubeck, Germany next month, Covid permitting, as he's been offered a deal to play for the Lubeck Cougars U19s in the GFL. Everything being well, for him, we won't see much of him until August at the earliest. Kara is back in Liverpool and hoping to finally get out and about there.

I have this chore hanging over me. I have to call an electrician. Well I need to arrange one. Maybe ‘need’ is a strong word. It’s something that needs to be done eventually.
I would rather send an email to the company we’re going to use (might use). I understand emails. Everyone knows where they stand with emails. With a call - I’ll be bamboozled. But this company only has a phone line. I’ll be put on the spot. There’ll be nothing in writing. Who calls these days?
I’ve been in bed too long I suppose.
This is a non-problem.

I now have a residents parking permit for the 'Green Machine'. Of course, the machine is currently 86 miles away, but, it's a start.
OTTM: Alway check there is sufficient toilet roll before and not after you have dropped the kids off at the pool.
