Mooning.
Again with the Monday, why is it always Monday. Technically it should be Moonday.
I'm going back to bed - or just getting up, I haven't quite worked that out yet.

I'm off all week with the child.
Games. Played a couple of rounds of Rainbow Six. Nobody team killed me which was nice.
Bit of running around in The Division 2.
Started Line of Duty but the pm fell asleep so we've not seen the second half.

Hullo.
Nice and sunny here. I was supposed to get my hair cut, but I think I'll just get pissed instead. Priorities.

Hello all.
Gamesblog: nope
TVblog: Arrested Development, the penultimate episode of the third series. We shan’t continue to the fourth and fifth. And two eps of Babylon 5. The first had Dwight Schultz in it, and the second had Jessica Walter and Mr Takagi from Die Hard.
Amigablog: more art clean-up. Colours have reduced to 244 used pens.

I just did my first Covid test*. Turns out I have quite a strong gag reflex. Great way to start a Monday. 4 stars, would recommend.
*Oh, thanks for asking, no, I don't have symptoms, don't worry, but I did write a risk assessment about Covid and working, which I forgot to exclude myself from. Great. Now I can go into work.
Would you like fries with that?

I'm going to have stop drinking Jaipur, it always seems to give me bad tummy trouble overnight and the next day. My bathroom is currently a disaster zone.

Shenguin’s in charge of risk assessments?
Good lord...

Every business has to have a whole pile of risks assessed these days. It's something for the pencil pushers to do. Shenguin is in charge of assessing the risk of injury if you push the pencil off the desk. I do not think he is a qualified HSE inspector. The sort of person who can walk in to a business and say stop. And the business has to stop. He's more the sort who says employ me to help and the business gradually and safely grinds to a halt

No, but I did tell a Building Regulations Inspector the other day that he didn't have the power to shut us down, and asked him not to tell our staff that he did. I'm sort of in charge of Risk, HR, Health and Safety, IT, Finance, Legal Compliance, Contracts, Security, Policies, and Resource Allocation. I'm probably meant to be in charge of Payroll, Purchasing, and Sales, but I don't actually do anything for those. I also support on Capital Builds, Project Management, Organisational Development, Commissioning, Artist Engagement, Book Writing and Editing, Software Development, Social Media, Historical Research, Economic Research, Community Engagement, Facilities Management, Design, Biological Research Strategy, Factory Operations, and Product Development. I also bought a bunch of daffodils on my way in today, to brighten up the office a bit. It's more mundane (apart from the daffodils) and less well paid than it sounds.
