Question, what British made* anything do people have in their house?
*apart from children.

I have an internet radio from a company based in Lanark. But I do not know if it is made in Lanark ...
I have another internet radio from a company based in Cambridge. But I do not know if it is made in Cambridge ...
I have some knives and forks, and I've no doubt they're made from the finest Sheffield steel.

Actually I also have a CD player from a company boasting 'Great British sound', designed and engineered in London.
I do not know where it is made. But it's a piece of work I tell you. And not in a good way.

I had a Cornish wine yesterday. It was awful.
Do we even make electronic goods in this country? I would rather source mine from somewhere reputable like Taiwan.

Thinking about it, it is fairer to ask what British designed/originated stuff you have, as most things are manufactured in another country.

My Cambridge Audio CD payer is a shambles. It gets to the end of a CD and starts skipping, by which time I'm usually deep in the relaxation zone. It's driven me into the arms of Big Streaming.

In addition to some (Victorian and otherwise) furniture and light fittings, I also have a Dyson (*washes mouth out with soap*). My cooker is a Cannon and I have a Raleigh bike.
I also have a lot of books that were printed in Britain and several bottles of Scottish single malt.
Turns out my kettle and toaster are Australian (Breville). G'day!
