Is there any British in you?* I'm half Red Indian on my mums side and the other is a mixture of English/Huguenot and Welsh**. *this is not leading to a "joke". **and probably other stuff. <edit>I know the Huguenots were French but I didn't want Amipal to hate me. In the recent census I identified as British. As far as ancestry is concerned, not that I'm aware, although my ancestors were from the homeland of both the Angles and the Saxons, so I'm sure we are related if one goes back far enough. In that way I'm more Anglo-Saxon than my Pref. Mam. ever was, whose ancestry was exclusively Scottish and Irish, with a bit of Dutch (his maternal grandmother was from Rotterdam) and not a single drop of English blood, as he liked to point out. One great-great-grandmother of mine was Indian (not Red), not sure where she fits in. |

A chap popped over earlier to sort out a quote for installing an EV charger.
Seems like he knows his stuff. Has all the know-how.
He even had an electric van.

In addition to some (Victorian and otherwise) furniture and light fittings, I also have a Dyson (*washes mouth out with soap*). My cooker is a Cannon and I have a Raleigh bike. I also have a lot of books that were printed in Britain and several bottles of Scottish single malt. Turns out my kettle and toaster are Australian (Breville). G'day!
