France can wage thermonuclear war in a matter of seconds. Britain is only renting it's nuclear arsenal and the guidance can be turned off the by the USA just like that (clicks fingers).

In fact they are compelled under NATO to defend/help us in that scenario.

Technically it is just a carrier. An expensive ferry. And we have two of them We don't actually have any aircraft capable of using the carriers. They need F35Bs which we won't have until 2023 at the earliest. We did borrow a few from the USA briefly to frighten the Chinese recently. So on the plus side we have two carriers, not one. On the downside they are completely fucking useless at the moment.

Dont forget that Scotland will probably be keeping the Nukes for a bit once we break away. England doesnt have the capability to store its own nuclear weapons. Personally I'm in favour of keeping one or two for a while in case England gets a bit weird/needy/deluded after the break up.

Incroyable. I hope in Global Britain the red coat military uniform is revived to show we really mean business.

In fact they are compelled under NATO to defend/help us in that scenario. France is also part of NATO. But because France's nuclear weapons are independent they have the capacity to strike first and to strike hard. Also to show no mercy.

Is it a great loss if we accidentally nuke and/or irradiate Plymouth so it only populated by mutants for thousands of years? I'm going for no. Would we even notice?

I've always considered myself French in spirit, well Occitan* speaking and pickled in Armagnac.
I was accosted by a gentleman in Condom# who gabbled at me in some strange language that wasn't French or Spanish. I have no idea if it was Occitan as I couldn't understand a word.
* I can't speak Oc. #The French town you filthy minded people. It was in a street off the main square. He was fully dressed, and not rubbered up as far as I am aware. Condom is a nice town, if you can avoid making filthy sub-carry on jokes constantly. It has some tremendous distilleries.

I don't know why everyone is so rude about Plymouth. I liked the lido when I visited.
Could be a good place to park the subs?

But because France's nuclear weapons are independent they have the capacity to strike first and to strike hard. Also to show no mercy. A simple misunderstanding. What they mean is "non, merci".

Did you like the ho? I liked the lot. The Hoe; the famous Rock; the boat trip through the harbour; the book shop operated by the threatening Scotchman; the fancy new dock place with the expensive craft shops, where I bought a mug that I am still paying off; the concrete bit with all the shops. A fine city.

Is Drake's Drum in Plymouth? I imagine it is currently beating out a sonorous tattoo.

I have not been to Home Park. We played Plymouth in 2008 but on a Tuesday night. It was too far to travel there and back from London and go to work on the Tuesday or Wednesday. Also in 2006 I don't know why I did not go. Probably too far. I did go to Torquay to see us in 2006. It was a 0-0 draw and we were terrible. They were in league 2 and we were a Premier League side. Before then it was back in the 1990s and I probably didn't have easy access to a car or to the money to go.

Just been to vote. Had a mild argument about not wanting my polling card handed back to me by someone who had been also handling other polling cards and why did he need to handle it in the first place.
Filth. And not in a good way.
