I have also been up since around 5.a.m. Anyone thinking of having kids? Well bear the lack of fuckin' sleep in mind.
Gaming went OK, we played a few duo matches of Fortnite and we won the last match. At the end the other duo were at the top of a huge mountain and we were at the bottom with a sheer climb to the top. I feared the next circle would favour them so I heroically built up to them, only to be knocked immediately where I fell all the way down. Due to the angle of the cliff my brother could revive me and they could not shoot down. Luckily the next circle favoured us and they had to come down, and we quickly disposed of them by shooting them to death.
We then tried PUBG and our treatment here at the hands of the other players can be compared to that of a young seal being targeted by an adult otter in mating season.

Hi. Last night, I started downloading Mass Effect Legendary Edition. BDT strikes again.
I also finished watching 'Sons of Sam' on Netflix. It was genuinely awful: 4 stars.

Morning all!
I went to the pub after work yesterday. It was grey and overcast, and the pub garden atop a terrace build on the cliffs at Rottingdean, so quite chilly.
But the company was warm, and the chat top-notch.
They closed early, though, so was home by 7:30.

Well, yes
Fortnite.
A few solo games. 1 win I think
I was just thinking of finishing when Shenguin popped up
We played 3 games and I showed him how to win them.
There was an unfortunate moment in the second game where it looked like Shenguin might have got the final shot from a distance as I emptied a rifle in to the guy at close range. Fortunately the kill was awarded to me.
So a hat trick of wins. It was late so we stopped playing.
Mass Effect
I thought I had better check it out.
I was pretty angry that it was not available on PS5 until midnight. They lied
It appears to be the same gameplay
On a decent sized screen 4K TV it is spectacular. There are some space shots early on that are pure porn.
I have not met Miranda yet as I am playing the first game

Does the revamped Mass Effect stand up to the likes of Cyberpunk and Red Dead Redemption 2 graphically, or is it more like the tarted up Halo games which still look a bit shit?

Rome remastered.
Disposed of the SPQR and Julii. Just the Brutii left who have most of western and central Europe albeit with huge cities and one or two units in them.
Unsure how they aren't all in revolt but c'est la vie as the Romans would say.

I have not played Halo since Halo 4. I have not played Cyberpunk* and only played a couple of hours of RDR2 on PS4. I only saw the first few minutes of Mass Effect. I would compare it to Demon's Souls on pS5. It appeared to have been completely upgraded and looked very pretty. I have not started any ground missions though. TBH I'd happily watch the space scenes for hours. * I own it. I am considering waiting for the free PS5 version. I notice Cyberpunk is still not available on PSN. nearly 6 months on from the troubled launch. |

Cyberpunk is still really ropey on the PS4. There was one mission, near the beginning, where you're chasing a van in a car. I couldn't work out what I needed to do to finish and kept getting murdered. This was until I realised the back of the van's textures hadn't loaded in properly and there was in fact several bad guys shooting at me from behind a back door made out of play dough.
Maybe I'll wait for the PS5 version

Unless you just mean you could potentially compare it to Demon's, and that comparison may or may not be favourable. If I was looking to compare Mass Effect Remarstered I would compare it to top PS5 space game Returnal (5 stars) or PS5 tour of force Demon's Souls. |

Good morning,
Today I finally admitted defeat and joined the ranks of the bespectacled. On the plus side I can now actually see things clearly, but I'll now need a haircut pretty soon as I'm looking a bit too much like Jarvis Cocker.
