Happy semi-freedom day. I think I am happy not going raving or socializing. Dinner out in the warm would be good sometime in the future.
I had forgotten how quirky mass effect was, mako and pistols for magic technician.

Morning all,
Bought Mass Effect Legendary at the weekend. Running with a sentinel build but unsure how to use the biotic powers exactly, I get the wheel up, select a power and a target, then click x. Do I then come back out of the wheel?
Be useful if I could select and assign a power to a button. Entitled gamers eh?

You can map one power to a button while in the wheel, it's rb on a xbox controller once mapped, i think. <edit>You can map more in ME2 and 3.

Morning all!
Gamesblog: just some Amiga gaming with the boy. Chuck Rock and Chuck Rock 2.
TVblog: that Titanic thing on Channel 4. James Cameron has a deep fascination with it.
I also grabbed the seven-day free trial for BritBox, so that I could pop the first episode of Thunderbirds on for my son*. He had a lot of questions, there was some slight boredom, but overall I think he enjoyed it.
Later on, I watched the first episode of Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy. And then popped in a DVD of Babylon 5.
Crumbs, there was the third episode of Partridge as well... ALL THE TV.
*and me. I mean, come on...

Morning.
Cardboard bin this morning and they even took the extra box stuffed full next to it. Amazing scenes. Our house is now cardboard free.
Games: I am stuck on the 4th stage boss on R-Type Final 2 and played a little Skyrim (I'm in Riften now).
Weather: Cloudy and cool.
Feeling generally quite restless, really could do with a holiday.

Hello. Tenet. What a bag of shite. Not my words, but the words of the ghost of Barry Norman.
I've had word that my coal powered work laptop is getting refreshed on Wed. This is the best news I've had in ages as it's an ancient pos and takes ages to do anything. A bit like myself I realise - so not the best combo.
My work is opening today for "limited browsing" - 15 mins to choose some books and get tae.
Games. Wee bit of TD2.

Morning!
No games last night.
Watched Brian Flanagan play a pre-crime cop in The Minority Report. Even though I've seen it before, I really enjoyed it.
OTTM, booked a weekend away for the PMs birthday next month. Alas, the children are invited too. It has a hot tub. Hopefully it will turn out like The Hot Tub Time Machine.
OOTTM, pubs and restaurants are open indoors! Wahoo!

Mass Effect Mostly I played Fortnite
Fortnite 3 duos games with 10+ kills. We even won one of them. Apparently I was over aggressive. Enjoying the game too much. If this were a teen slasher film I'd be the killer.

Apparently a lot (maybe even all) of the adults in Bolton who have been hospitalised with the Indian variant of Covid had failed to take the vaccine offered to them. I am sure one or two had good reason, but crickey fuck they seem to have been the architects of their own downfall there. With a bit of luck Ian Brown and other similar celebrity conspiracy nut jobs will also catch it.
Anyhoo, maybe the lockdown easing may be slowed down a little now.

hi
You good?
I'm ok. I'm fine. No it's ok. I'm alright.
I'm sort of still mulling over the acts of generosity from our neighbours. I mean - I have lived here for five years. My girlfriend has lived here for over ten years. And our neighbours have been there all this time, with the occasional friendly nod as we pass each other by the front door. Now we have these gifts of food.
I'm not sure what to make of it. To be honest I'm not always crazy about gifts of food. I feel they come with a light obligation to eat. It's on the same scale, if not at the same end of it, as being a foi gras goose.
These neighours are good neighnours though. This isn't a complaint.

GamesFornite and Resident Evil 4. I did terribly in Fortnite, I think because I've been playing so much Resident Evil 4 - lining up hooded occultists and torch-wielding villagers as they amble towards me. This approach will not work in Fortnite. TV
Peaky Blinders and Hausen. I feel unsure about Peaky Blinders ...
