Morning. It's a heady 69F here in Doncaster - too hot to go shopping, so I've sent Mrs T out.
Haddock, beans & chips last night. It was OK.

Games. Bit of The Division 2. Hit 30 on this character but not finished all the missions yet. Need the crafting table. Might sack it off for a bit and play something else.
TV. More Mare of Easttown.
Nice day out. The child is off to gymnastics shortly and is usually broken afterwards but hopefully the lure of a 'single nugget' (nougat) will get her/us out the house later.

Hi I walked (part of) the Cown Edge Way earlier. Saw several birds of prey. It was a bit warm. Been in a hot tub and now drinking beer whilst watching the footer. Good job there was no cricket today. Eagles are so hot right now. |

The Greatest British eagle?
I always thought it was the Golden Eagle but then, in the past week, I’ve seen someone on the telly say it was the White Tailed Eagle, and then someone say it was the Sea Eagle.

afternoon
Amazon Prime:
I got in just in time to see The Hobbit 1,2,3. 4* good but long.
It's gone now (13th June), I had started ironing at the time, I am going to have to finish of today.
Netflix:
I watched the series Jupiters Legacies in full last night.
Also 4* also good but convoluted at times.
Food:
I made a Beef Joint 4 days ago and had half of that with new potatoes, I then made a shepherds pie with the other half (beef not lamb) and put garlic with onions and veg layered, then mashed potatoes on top - bootiful. It lasted me three days and I heated it each time at 180 deg the best use of beef I've done in a while.
games chat: no games myself but I did do a little light reading on Far Cry, the general consensus is that FC3 and FC5 are the better ones, my personal faves are FC instincts and FC evolution and FC3.
What does the 'Box think?

Beef does soften up nicely in a pie, you need to cook it rare to medium first. bulgogi does sound interesting, although I would reduce the 'fire' as I'm a bit of a wimp when it comes to spices. |
