Eagle chat...just had a sandwich in the garden and watching the buzzards over head. From being able to see their colouring to just small dots high up so quickly. Not a single flap of the wings, just riding the air currents. Must be wonderful to be able to do that.

The downside is that you have to eat raw mice, and have no access to healthcare.

Does anyone else think the post-match interviewer is saying some weird things to the players?
To Raheem Sterling - ‘Have you earned your place in the team?’
To Tyrone Mings - ‘From mortgage advisor to England player.’
They cut the interviews with Kalvin Philips and Mason Mount. I think she’s saying mad shit.

A solid start for Sir Harold and the lads. One more point to effectively qualify.

I can see it now: bloke on a scaffold "right ya B'stards let's see you land on that", as he nails the last anti pigeon spike strip, bird poops on his van windscreen, "Ye may take our landing spots, but ye'll never take our freedom", and lines up for another bombing run, In swoops the bird of prey and lines up his target, "glad we worked out that deal with people". Ninja of the skies. FYI: I think it was the film Brazil that came closest to the feel of it.

The downside is that you have to eat raw mice, and have no access to healthcare. Their stomachs crush the 'food' down and digest the meat and juices then excrete the bones as a pellet. edit: must be the heat getting to me, I meant to make a quip about the coating on tablets but the moment is lost. A Stirling effort from England then.. need a cold coffee

Beer: yes.
I have once more been blessed with reliable internet, and in addition Jeff's minion delivered a Whyfee extender that I got to work after some faffing about. After last week's cable repairs the signal strength upstairs had been a bit too weak, particularly for my Switch.
I just took a peek at the fantasy league leaderboard. Not being able to look after my team makes me a bit sad. But then again, I was resigned to be in last place anyway, and I've been saved by a point from that fate for now. Would have helped if the website would let you change captains if you selected someone by mistake. Eh, I've got my excuses in early.

afternoon Amazon Prime: I got in just in time to see The Hobbit 1,2,3. 4* good but long. It's gone now (13th June), I had started ironing at the time, I am going to have to finish of today. Netflix: I watched the series Jupiters Legacies in full last night. Also 4* also good but convoluted at times. Food: I made a Beef Joint 4 days ago and had half of that with new potatoes, I then made a shepherds pie with the other half (beef not lamb) and put garlic with onions and veg layered, then mashed potatoes on top - bootiful. It lasted me three days and I heated it each time at 180 deg the best use of beef I've done in a while. games chat: no games myself but I did do a little light reading on Far Cry, the general consensus is that FC3 and FC5 are the better ones, my personal faves are FC instincts and FC evolution and FC3. What does the 'Box think? edit: Footie at 1400 hrs for those who can. I always liked FC 4 myself.

I always liked FC 4 myself. I remember some of it but didn't get to finish it due to personal issues. FC3 was always cool because of the mad one in it and FC instincts because of the predatory skills and after action hunting with a sniper rifle.

On a bit of a carb crash. Risotto for dinner. Just tidied up and I think I need a coffee. Would love a cold brew. But that would mean planning ahead and there being room in the fridge.

Starfield exclusive to Xbox and on Game Pass on release, 11/11/2022. Ah, the old 11/11 release day shtick. I'm still catching up with yesterday's news. I've only just finished the Wholesome Games. Who knew there were so many wholesome games? I'd like to play them all, but at this point I need to take my backlog to the nearest black hole in the universe. I could really do with time slowing down.

I hope Stalker 2 comes to PS5. Is Starfield an RPG? Bethesda haven't made any RPGs worthy of the name since Skyrim. So I'm not pumped for that.

What a goal.
Also Ali Mc is possibly the best co-commentator.
