FF transfers have been done, however we are out at a karaoke party at PMs eldest…. We both detest karaoke and have made a pact to not be cajoled into a single performance, it it means I won’t be able to make any last minute subs/changes. I have ditched Bale, and will be planning an Italian walkover at 8. Hoping Mancini reverts to his normal squad or I’m properly buggered.

Just bought Far Cry 5 in the steam sale. Hopefully some redneck rootin' tootin' shootin' tonight! Hello. Games.Wee bit of TD2 last night. Finishing side missions etc. TV. Some streaming Glasto from the 90s. Some of it I was actually in the crowd. (Spoiler. Not Radiohead) Then another episode of Your Honor. The child is impatiently waiting on a delivery from Jeff of two books she'll arse by about Tuesday. If only there was a place you could borrow books from and return them when finished. Libraries are very 19th century. They probably seem like the future if you grew up in Greenock or on a farm or have never seen the internet. |

FF team has been managed and transferred in, out and around within an inch of its life. Hurry, hurry, everything must go. A lot of rummaging in the €5 million bargain basement. My team is extremely driven after I mentioned during my pep talk that I have zero confidence in them. Reverse psychology or just accepting reality? Only time will tell.
To pass the Tebbit test this time I've ditched my one and only German. Wait for the revenge of the Vaterland on Tuesday.

Libraries are very 19th century. They probably seem like the future if you grew up in Greenock or on a farm or have never seen the internet. Part of the problem though that libraries are dealing with nowadays is information literacy. For example some people will read your post and believe it. Fajitas for dinner. Quite.stuffed. |

There is a proper library locally as well.
It was pretty good when I was a child. Not used it recently.
There have been a lot of cuts made by the council.

The library in Sutton itself is a disaster.
It was closed for asbestos for a few years.
Until it came out the council had a 99 year lease and were still paying rent. They eventually did the repairs and bought the shopping centre it is in. It's really badly positioned though. And the shopping centre is awful. It really needs knocking down.

Library uses Borrowbox which is really easy to use and efficient. The building housing the library was built in 1572 so must be due for demolition.

I spent a lot of my evenings in a library, I think my getting a PS1 stopped all that and reduced my grades.

Sutton is awful. It really needs knocking down. ftfy. Sadly that is pretty much true of Sutton Coldfield town centre. It's awful. There's a run of shops on the Parade where something like 1 in 11 is occupied. That includes empty BHS and M&S stores. The whole of the main shopping centre is about 50% empty. The indoor market is a disaster zone since it moved and the Red Rose centre is worse. |
