So Matt Hancock has finally fallen on his sword. Fallen on his cock surely? Pork Sword.

Back from shopping. I got beer. I also grabbed some shorts and a couple of T's. All praise TK Maxx.

So Matt Hancock has finally fallen on his sword. It's a shame for such an honourable and trustworthy man. I for one will continue to believe everything he has said, and also everything his ex-colleagues will continue to say, about the virus/vaccines/lockdowns. I will follow their every instruction without question. They are, after all, better than me, 100% honest and their whole career/life is about helping and serving the public, with their own interests of no importance.

So Matt Hancock has finally fallen on his sword. Isn't it somebody else being on his sword that's caused the issue? Don't worry he has dropped his wife and moved in with the other woman while still married, I think he is trying too hard to be like Boris.

The elephant in the room is that the footage came from in-house camera systems. Nobody at all seems interested in finding out who leaked it and how they accessed it.

They've let it be known they think they know who the leaker was, but aren't investigating as they'd be covered by Whistle Blowing regulations, as they were uncovering a breach of the law.

Yeah, but that is surely a load of shite. Was Hancock actually breaking the law? Maybe, but they could easily have argued otherwise were they so minded.

He didn’t resign because he was breaking the law, he resigned because even this government thought the bad publicly was too much.

He resigned because the murdoch empire decided that his entertainment value had peaked.

Matt Hancock followed the universal law of Love. You mean get married and then go after someone else's wife whilst giving the husband a government contract?

Switch lot - Anyone Super Mario Gofl? Theres also a demo for Monster Hunter Stories 2. Seems top banana. I have little interest in Super Mario Golf and my backlog is full already. Tonight's weekly gaming stream will be the MH Stories 2 demo. Will report on it. Today is the last day of the Switch sale with some substantial savings. I think it's a third off Xenoblade Chronicles DE which I thoroughly recommend although I haven't progressed much recently, what with E3 and pedestrian balls and dealing with Priti Vacant's broken system. So far I've bought an eclectic mix in that sale: Metro: Last Light Redux (for only 2 quid); Firewatch (finally, for £4.50); Ass Creed Black Flag & Rogue; Alien Isolation; and Doom 64. But there's a lot on offer. Then I remembered that I had checked my almost complete Metroid collection in anticipation for the new Metroid: Dread releasing in October and found that I was still missing Zero Mission and Other M, so I fired up the Wii U and had a look around the e-shop. I had totally forgotten what a treasure trove that place is. Now I got all the Metroids, except for Prime Hunters (and Federation Force, natch). I already have a lot of classical games, but while I was there I got Paper Mario (the original; no way to get Thousand Year Door, which might be deliberate) and Pikmin 2, thus completing my Pikmins. If Nintendo isn't getting a move on and puts at least GBA games on its online service I will be back for some Golden Sun. Although you never know, now they are resurrecting Advance Wars there might be hope that we'll get a remake some day?

Well that's the end of my FF dreams, unless Ronaldo gets sent off before 60 minutes, whilst conceding a penalty, scoring an own goal and missing a penalty.
<edit>and De Bruyne scores a Hat Trick.
