I have 1 half sister and 3 step sisters since a young age and not close to any of them in a meaningful way. I dont know much about whats happening in their lives. I have a good relationship with both mum and dad, though they have been separated since I was 7. If any of my sisters tried to give me any grief I wouldnt hesitate to tell them to fuck off though. Siblings dont get to tell other siblings what to do or make arsey comments, thats how I always thought it worked....? In my case, I wouldn't hesitate to tell her she was a dense fucking bitch and that she knows fuck all, but - due to recent circs, we all have to play nicely. For a bit.
Example: Tried to start Dad's car, couldn't but thought that turning the alarm on and off rapidly would work. Nope, sets alarm off. Her response? Ran away and hid in the house, alarm blaring away.

Good job I was an only child then....
Personally I find making smartarsey comments and giving unwanted and unhelpful advice works well for me.
For my relatives though? Trickier to say. I suppose I could try asking, but then I might have to listen to their complaints.
