I have my parents visiting on Thursday so have been cleaning rooms and stuff.
I also watched Back to the Future. There are some pretty grim scenes by modern standards, for example did Biff successfully rape Lorraine in the car? The only black group in the film are "reefer addicts" and a crazed ginger dude takes great delight in molesting Lorraine on the dance floor. The female characters are all weak and submissive too.
However, my biggest issue is why does Marty hang around with the Doc in the first place? This is never explained. Has he brainwashed Marty?

But seriously, it’s a film set in the 1950s. It’s not modern-day Portland with neck-beards, craft-beer, plait shirts, and sleeve-tattoos.

Did it just happen in TV and films, or did people regularly used to do that IRL too?

spent all day drinking pints in the sun yesterday, was the best.
Ive watched 3 Lokis so far and I like it.
No games.
Overcast and raining in Edinburgh today but I'm not going to be fooled into wearing trousers, taken a gamble and went for shorts.
