Remember folks that giving an "honest" opinion is normally just showing off how clever and well rounded you are. Sometimes just shutting the fuck up is a way to go. I do it all the time, no one listens, yes it perfectly fine to drink your tea from the saucer no running across the road without looking isn't wrong, it's the traffics fault for not learning to drive and talking loudly on the mobile when on a bus is your right, even though the entire bus is glaring at you to shut up and sit down. or the classic yes of course Einstein accounted for each photon when he was adding up his 'running' speed of light. some are smart and stay the silent majority, some are uneducated and can still put PHDs to shame, and some just can't be bothered and blab out any old nonsense, that's life. shutting the f*** up now. |

Other things: Who does Scubar think he is? Too posh to go to Ibiza for his 'real' Honeymoon? Just slumming it there for a 'mini-moon' before an anonymous donor pays for his 6 week luxury break to Mustique? La de da. I am holidaying in the Plymouth area and would be more than happy to swing by scubar's place and half inch his VCR while he's away by way of teaching him a lesson. Ok, I was talking to someone* who works in the pub I drink in, after they finished their shift, we talked about games** and then moved onto the "game". We were talking about "Taking the Knee", "BLM" and the stuff that happened after the game. His point was that some of the Boos weren't racist but a disagreement about the the "politics" behind BLM/Knee. Which is fair(ish). Then he said the BLM was a Communist movement and I laughed, strongly***, and then he made his excuses and left. I feel that is yet another friendship down the drain.
