Day 2 this week of me n the weans school holidays.
No TV or games last night. Listened to a podcast about a Manc gangster and lubed some switches in prep for my new keyboard kit arriving next week. Managed half of them.

We didn't have anyone come and look at the leak last night. We were expecting someone.
I played PUBG, which was ok. It was fine.
I lost a game of chess and spent a while ruminating about racism. A friend of mine told me that one of his friends had been at Wembley on Sunday and that the racism there was insane. People Sieg-Heiling. Seriously. Then the PM found footage of an asian man being beaten up there by some shave-headed white men.
I want to leave the country. I want to get out.
A very competitively priced Jaguar might get me to Scotland. A Dutch barge would get me to the Netherlands. I want to go much further. A one-way trip to the North Pole. Cut a hole in the ice and jump in.

Other things:
I'm planning to have an Indian (meal) delivered to my abode later. Ive ordered the Paneer Karahi as a main and Dal side dish 3 times in a row but tonight I'm going to try the Lasooni Dal Palak, Jeera Aloo and try out the mushroom Pakora.
Who does Scubar think he is? Too posh to go to Ibiza for his 'real' Honeymoon? Just slumming it there for a 'mini-moon' before an anonymous donor pays for his 6 week luxury break to Mustique? La de da.
Games: No
TV: Loki up to Ep 5, looking forward to the finale, its been far more enjoyable and watchable than Wandavision.

Morning assembled thought leaders and thought sceptics,
Discovered a top new Indian place to order from last night - they have a bounteous Thali for I think £7 (or less), and some quality Daal Makhani and Chilli paneer. We'll be living off the left overs for months.
Games - mostly moribund. I did dip into Dominions 5. First attempt I grew overambitious and tried to invade a province of lizard men with my rather small second army, which went poorly. Second time round I'm a big dragon and expanding more cautiously, and following a tutorial.
Skyward Sword on Friday! I thought the original was top banana, excepting the fact that the motion controls just didn't work, at all. Got stuck on a boss fight because it was impossible to swing the sword consistently in the direction the game was asking you to.
Is scubarb off his tits on a couple of doves in Ibiza or something?

I'd forgotten about Skyward Sword. I never played the original release. Will probably get it at some point, although it might be a bit of a step down after BOTW.
