I don't give a fuck about Stephen Hawking. I am more taxed by Ken Dodd's death.

We would easily eclipse the most distasteful comment currently there. Thought Hawking was haunting my house. Turned out my kid had got the button stuck on his speak and spell. It must be nice for his kids, anytime they want to speak to their dad they can just type platitudes into Microsoft Sam. "You were always my favourite". I hate myself.

£10.70 for two pints of Staropramen? I see the spirit of Robin Hood has well and truly left this place.

Afternoon.
Stephen Hawking's death is leaving a black hole in my heart.
No games for the last two days, and I've only just caught up on yesterdays 'games in church' comments. I'm so proud of the Chatterbox crew. I wish I wasn't still premodded, I just can't seem to get out. But I left plenty of upvotes.
Still watching Mad Men. Everybody's marriage is in shambles, and elderly parents are making a nuisance of themselves.

I'd say the quality drops, which can't be stopped, but not too much and the style helps carry it too. I enjoyed it until the end and started a rewatch recently before getting sidetracked by TNG, which was sidetracked by Jessica Jones.

Need to go back to it. Only seen mm S1 and the first episode of S2.
My dislike of Don Draper put me off.

Are we all comfortable in our wormhole?
Chicken enchiladas for dinner, and I'm finally getting round to more Skyrimming. I was last seen peeking into an ominous dark cave and chickening out because I had too much stuff to carry and bandits are probably easier than whatever was lurking in there [keeps making excuses]. They don't call me Dragonpuss for nothing.
Sooo, if you got the DLC you are getting vampires and stuff by fast-travelling? That might explain something...

I, too, have been playing Skyrim and have reached the lofty heights of Level 4. I have recovered the Golden Claw and returned it to its rightful owner. I have also learned the Dragon Shout 'Unrelenting Force'

Luckily my companion takes some of the sting out of them with his bow before I wade in with my axe.

Morning, More skyrimming last night, tried to track down a transmute spell, thought I’d join the college. Failed the application test as I don’t have enough magicka. Starting to get to the stage where the dragons are annoying more than a challenge. If you have all the DLC you'll have dragons, cultists and vamps appearing when you fast-travel. The only bonus is that they'll start fighting each other. The transmute spell is very handy, change iron ore to gold and make gold rings is the quickest way to up your smithing. I've mentioned it before but find the Lovers Stone (near Markarth). It ups all XP by 15%, the earlier you activate it the better. There's a bound bow spell in Fort Amol (in a bucket), but it's tough early on and you need a decent amount of magika to cast it. Stick mystic binding on it and you have a daedric level bow with daedric arrows. Tasty. Probably not worth going for it until you're around level 15. Making iron daggers is a good way to up smithing skill early in the game. Also Alchemy helps with battles early on using potions and poisons. If you have the DLC a homestead in Falkreath, where you can build a garden and greenhouse to grow all the ingredients you need, becomes available at level 15. You get an invite to do a mission for the Jarl.
