Is this what Braveheart meant? Did he die in vain? No. His death still serves as a reminder to Scotty as to what happens when he steps out of line. Ha ha... I didn't read the GIF like that, but yes, he does look rather unsettled.
Good call.

Morning.
It's lovely and warm here today. Hopefully it will help with drying out my damp garage. That's not a euphemism.
Visited the in-laws for the first time since christmas 2019 this weekend. Much red wine was by quaffed by me, whilst most others suffered from a stomach bug. Wine is always the best cure

In the future it will be bigger than Independence Day.

Weekend
It was hot ...
I played Fortnite, on Saturday and won two games as part of a Duo. Pretty thrilling. I also downloaded a game called Sky, on the Switch, which turned out to be by the makers of Journey, and Flower. It is a lot like Journey, but with more story and interaction. I liked it until a person I 'befriended' started talking to me. I bolted, to be honest, soon after that.

Amongst the panoply of fun that I enjoy is mild hay fever ... so I follow the Mediterranean tradition of fans, drawn curtains, sleep during the heat of the day - siesta baby! (open windows / curtains early morning - just closed them and do chores up to 11) FFS It was already 29c in here at 9.30 a.m. 🌞... Listening to Deadhouse Gates while sweltering. Bums, I'm not resizing that.

Who coined the term Freedom Day? Daresay a few media outlets who then decided that the govt had initially called it that. We get the media we deserve.

I put "Freedom" in my calendar* as soon as Johnson announced it, I doubt I was the only one who had that thought.
*and moved it when he changed the date and no doubt will move it again when we go back into another version of lockdown.

Hello all!
Yesterday was yet another party. A beach-party this time, for one of the boy’s friends. It was busy down there. BUSY. People mainly kept distant, thankfully. It was also ruddy hot. I’d hoped to have a swim, but the tide was low and the rocks were showing. So all I managed was some knee-height paddling.
TVblog: Community. Troy turned 21, and Abed had an animated Christmas. Pretty standard, non-stand-out episodes.
Amigablog: machine still set up downstairs, so played Legacy of Sorasil last night: a sequel to Hero Quest. I played it in preparation for a proper game of Hero Quest this weekend.

Who coined the term Freedom Day? It was scamander. Don't be fooled by his attempts at deflection.

Have started Broken Sword 5, a touch of nostalgia for the original series.

I started Baldur's Gate on the tablet last night after seeing it on sale for 2 quid. It is absolutely baffling. 4 stars.

Freedom Day
FREEDOM!
I have been self isolating for 9 days. Finishing at Midnight last night.
It is good to see everyone having a party for me. So far I have been to M&S, a client and now I am at work.

I appreciate in the overall scheme the unlocking may not be the best idea, but I am very keen on some freedom of movement. Very keen at the moment.
I have bought a ticket to go to Northampton next Saturday. This will be good.

I'll probably get covid/pinged in Northampton and that will be back to prison. A small lego stadium on the outskirts of a shithole town in the middle of nowhere will be the highlight of my Summer
4* recommended.

Seems like Freedom's a dirty word here in the Marxist Chatterbox 2.0. I'm sure Kim Jong-un will be pleased to have you.
