Hullo. I'm back from the Opticians. I have conjunctivitis in both eyes, been given eye-drops which MUST BE KEPT IN THE FRIDGE. I'm taking this as a sign I've been given the good shit. Bad news. I have been referred to the Hospital as I have suspected Glaucoma, which means my eyeballs could explode. This may impair my vision. Good news. I'm getting 2 pairs of NHS specs. That is all. Glaucoma? That means you can get medicinal marijuana doesn’t it? The Lad is going to become your best friend now |

Played some more pointy clicky puzzle solving mahjong ghost pirate adventures. Can't be far off the end now.
Also I was very close to buying Dark Souls remastered as it's only £6.49 in the ps store sale. But watching the trailer, especially after Demon's on ps5, put me off a bit. Never played it. Or DS2. And never finished 3. And gave up on Bloodborne at the first boss. Maybe I'll stick to cricket 19.Cool story.
OTTM, stayed up late watching some of the early athletics rounds.
OOTTM, I can confirm no constipation here.

They may no good at footy, but the Scots have beaten the rest of Europe at something else (again): As much as the Scottish Govt is to blame for reducing funding, the Westminster Govt are to blame as they won't allow drug abuse to be dealt with as a health issue but a legal one. Safe injecting rooms, some decriminalisation and drug purity testing would help with these figures. It's also a nice stick to beat the SNP with. |

Hello. We had a roofer guy round earlier to put some stuff on a join in the gutter that was leaking and then remove part of a tile from another section. He claims where the part tile came from is water tight. Hmm. We shall see.
Asda delivery to put away and child to entertain.

If they were only injecting pretty pure heroin the deaths would be a fraction of what they are. The problem is when they inject cocaine (pretty much the most dangerous drug to inject) or take a chance on the tablets some ruffian has pressed in his garage.

The per capita rate of drug deaths in Scotland is more than 3 times that of the rest of the UK and is the worst in Europe. It's always been very high as long as I remember. It's not clear that this is the fault of the UK government. Or of the devolved government as it predates devolution. There are clearly things that drug users do or don't do in Scotland that significantly increase the health risks to them. And this appears to be deeply built in to the culture. That isn't to say that I agree with the drug laws and the way they are handled. It would clearly be better to have regulated doses delivered hygenically. That way if someone does OD you have a chance of knowing what they have taken. |

I hope your eyes recover and the current pingdemic doesn't siphon off the staff needed to do your glaucoma operation ... I know I have some more advice, but I can't remember it. And it looks like I'm joining Faceless on shit watch... The District Nurses rang just now to postpone my treatment until tomorrow - which means that I have to take yet more doses of morphine then, redo the preparations and wait. And wait. It's not like waiting for a delivery; at the end of the wait, instead of some goodies I get put through agony. And it's always the same goddam nurse this happens with. I know that it can't be helped, but it feels like waiting outside the teachers' room for a caning.I looked for a gif for this, but they weren't funny - just distasteful*. I'm going to clear up and sleep for a while... *sigh* *And I genuinely hate pictures of women being abused |
