Made it safely down to the caravan/camping zone near Battle. We’re on a static home; but can hear the other residents’ wayward children still mucking about outside.
Anyway, I’ve got a Hobgoblin ale in hand, and Dr Brian Cox presenting The Planets on BBC4, courtesy of a Goodmans LCD television.

Second night in a row our bedroom stinks of woodsmoke as some cunt has a wood burner. So we can't leave the bathroom window open now. Brilliant!
Fucking things should be banned in built up areas. Never mind environmental concerns. What's that? Yes the house in question does have a Tesla.

I need to prove its who I think it is causing it and then find out the legal side of it. He's a joineer by trade. It's certainly not smokeless what he's using and my child is breathing it in.

Owners of wood burners, stoves and open fires will no longer be able to buy house coal or wet wood, under a ban to be rolled out from next year. Sales of the two most polluting fuels will be phased out in England to help cut air pollution, the government says. 21 Feb 2020 There are more recent write ups if you need to take the matter further.

Check with the local council - there may well be bye-laws that apply. If your house is on an estate the estate itself may have prohibitions on burning stuff; mine does, it should have been part of the legal documents you received when purchasing (or your tenant's agreement.)

www.gov.uk has some info on it worth checking out. Scotland has its own legal system Oz... as it says in the article you cited: "The Scottish government is due to consult on a draft revised air quality strategy later this year, following a review that included recommendations on domestic wood burning stoves, a spokeswoman said." Scotland is about 2 years behind as the government's strategy review was completed in 2019.
