Neighbour Update!
1) Les seems to have got the message regarding loud music.
2) I have a teddybear on a stool outside, next to my front door. It's there as a sort of funky memorial to Old Boy - we co-owned the bear and the stool I pinched from him post-mortem. Previous to his death, the bear sat on a table between 2 stools, where we used to sit and shoot the breeze. Got the picture? Good.
Yesterday, I noticed that the creature next door had placed a better teddybear on a chair outside her front door. It made me chuckle for a bit (not much).
3) When would be a good time to let slip that the previous tenant snuffed it in her flat? After I've asked her if she's 'spiritual'?
4) She claims to be 23, but she's clearly around 40.
Just thought I'd get that off my chest.

I know you've been having toilet troubles but a teddy bear on a shit you stole from the old boy? Oh, *that* sort of stool...
Unless she *really, really* fucks you off then it's not her fault she moved in to his flat and a bit, err, shitty to tell her. But other people may have other opinions.
I'm confused about Les Dawson. Has he moved into the JW flat upstairs?
Morning all. En-route to the office. Hoping the wifey in the education office on our floor has died and isn't in the office coughing repeatedly as she did last Wednesday.
No games. Though made a bit of room to download Forza Horizon 5.

ChumblesScott Manley’s videos are brilliant. Always informative, very technical, yet accessible.

Crank. She will ask me at some point about the previous tenant. I'm not going to volunteer the info - unless she really fucks me off.
The JW's haven't been around for 2 weeks, but their car is there. This means they have flown back to Poland for a bit.
I have decided not to refer to her as Les Dawson forthwith.

£5 for entry in Aberdeen sounds cheap and he even tried to dodge that. Sounds like a thrilling formula one race, I feel they missed a chance changing the name from muderball to make it a better for with the Paralympics.

Chez Shenguin was built in the 1860s. Since it can accommodate multiple humans, and deaths are often at home, and humans on average are born once and die once around three score years and ten apart, I would assume my fine abode has seen a share of births and deaths.
Humans die, it happens. So long as there isn't an exacerbating detail (personal connection, infamy, violence, being very recent) then I don't think it should be problematic.
I don't think I'd want to live in Fred West's house, even if it wasn't in Gloucester, and even if it hadn't been demolished, but I'd have to admit that's because of sentiment and superstition rather than any better reason.

Three score years and ten is for the traditional number for healthy populations, not the Scottish.

It's quite normal for properties to come on to the market after the resident has died. Sometimes they will have died there. In anything other than a new build it is a possibility. Mostly it's not something to obsess over. I wouldn't tell someone exactly how the previous residents had departed unless there is a very good reason (buried treasure in the cellar). It seems unnecessary.

Morning all,
Prior to Boris becoming leader a political pundit was asked who the possible contenders were.
He responded by saying you'd find out as puff pieces in the press would start to appear. The idea being to make the candidate seem more than just a politician. Perhaps something about their life growing up or anything not political.
For anyone who thought Gove's stunt was accidental. I have many bridges for sale.

Three score years and ten is for the traditional number for healthy populations, not the Scottish. Even for the unhealthy populations... I had an old atlas of morbidity for the UK and with very few exceptions the colours went to the darkest colours (purple, deep gray, black) in Scotland's central belt...

Morning fuckheads!
I’ve been on No more heroes 3, it’s top banana. My money is on a solid guardian 4 stars out of 4 stars.
A bank holiday Monday wouldn’t be complete without some belle end having set a deadline for tomorrow so I have to work to get the documents ready today. Top banana!
As far as I know, no one has died in our luxury flat, with the exception of some herbs we were trying to grow on the balcony

Morning, I have been far too busy and drunk to be posting my terrible chat here during August. Today marks the first day of a healthier more sober Sandy. So I wont drink any beer til 730 when I have guests for dinner. We are having Raclette, potatoes, meat, salad etc and beer.
Love life is going well, I feel like a ScottishTom Cruise finding his Katie Holmes before it all went weird and creepy. ( I am available for chatshows )
Games: nah Films: Saw Mad God. Im afraid I can only describe it as the animated vomit of a sick brain, pretty grotesque, grim. The sort of film you dont want to talk about afterwards and hope to forget asap. I'm sure there were very accomplished filmmaking aspects but I dont really care about that.
Gove chat: total prick.

I have a war story for you ... it could even by a pub in Govan... My dad used to occasionally play in the band in the Barras ballroom back when it was a ballroom. They only got a short interval and would head across to the Sarry heed bar across the road. One of the band all done up in a dickie bow etc pushes by a punter to get served. Said punter annoyed at being jooked in the queue puts a gun to the guys head. The barman casually walks out from behind the bar and smacks the guy over the head with an empty spirits bottle and then serves the almost sobbing musician. They started bringing a carry out after that...

The History of Science Museum is quite small. It's interesting, but I wouldn't expect to spend very long there. I think I spent longer in Blackwells bookshop opposite. I do not know if there are any exhibitions on at the Bodleian Library at the moment, which is also pretty much opposite.
Depending on your appetite for museums etc you might want to visit a college or the Ashmolean or Pitt-Rivers museums as well. I've not been to the Pitt-Rivers museum, but it is supposed to be good. Get there before all the loot has to he returned to the countries it was nicked from.
