Cricket chat. I'd suggest that Rooty & Silverwoody make such unrealistic demands on Cricket Australia that the ashes are cancelled and we, quite rightfully, claim the morale high ground, they are suspended for failing to fulfill the fixtures and the urn returns home to an open top bus parade.

I've got a couple of guest ones coming up. Demons, exorcisms and witchcraft in Mesopotamia. LJ Trafford on her book about sex and sexuality in ancient Rome. Guest episodes seem easier at the outset but you end up doing as much research to backfill just in case and to find some good questions to ask. |

And the only reason I suggested the cancellation of the Ashes is because it looks very much like a Glen McGrath prediction, ie Aus 5 - Eng 0. |

Morning all. Colleague away today and tomorrow, so picking up some of their work. It is very boring, regardless of how many times I have to take tea and coffee up to Mr. Shenguin’s office. TVblog: a cake thing. And then an Orville thing. Amigablog: more demos. I really must get to work on some more sweet content. It’s been an age since I last uploaded one. Localblog: I think there was a house fire nearby overnight. Some shouting, a smell of burning, and some blue flashing lights around midnight. I plan to reconnoiter the area at lunch, see what’s what. |

Went to fire up the Bananafield 2042 beta again yesterday, to find it had finished. Why do people do that? Betas that end on a Sunday morning?
In its place I plaid Heck Let Loose, about five minutes of running before being shot by an unseen assailant. Discovered how to spawn near the objective, about 30 seconds of running before being shot by an unseen assailant. Top banana.
Had a lovely time yesterday with Meteoroid, whilst quaffing a fat coke I accidentally vent myself whilst trying to get a rod hull from a vending machine. I think I've made it to some kind of boss - not the easy ones or the robots, an actual proper boss. Its well hard, or I'm doing it wrong. Probably both.
