Morning. Gaming night was tense, but we only managed a 2nd place in Fortnite duos and then a 2nd in PUBG where we played 4 man squads as a duo.
Sunny out, but chilly. Bordering on gloves weather for kids.

No games, Reading the foundation series again and might try dune before the tv show and film.
MDT as don’t feel going all out and the hangover can be justified at home. Would try local pubs again but all the students are back so don’t want to risk it.
Anything good been on tv recently, would try squid game but preferred mammal wouldn’t like the scare/gore if it has any.

Afternoon one and all
I am deeply ashamed of myself. Due to a Cex trip on Sunday I've decided to finish off the Souls in a disgraceful fashion. Firstly, I pushed a king down a flight of stairs. I just wanted his inheritance. Secondly, I stood behind another King (False) and gently released some noxious gas until he passed away quietly in his sleep. Dreadful.
Game completed. Now onto the next heroic challenge!

Hello all!
My ears are ringing this morning, as the PM and I actually went out to a real-life gig* last night - the Manic Street Preachers at The Dome in Brighton.
Ruddy good they were too.
Gamesblog: no.
TVblog: again, no.
EVblog: drove into town and parked in an NCP. I did think about finding one with charging units, but a) I didn’t need to charge, and b) BP Pulse operate many of them (by all accounts they’re awful).
City-centre driving was the last jigsaw-piece - I can now truly say that the ID.3 can handle anything. Superb car.
Shame about the other truly awful drivers in Brighton last night. The first (a metallic-blue MG3) pulled out of the car park, and then just sat there, not pulling out into the road. I was concerned my car would be cut in half by end theautomatic gates.
The second’s (a red modern Beetle) driver was too busy scrolling through social media on their windscreen-mount mobile to realise the lights had gone green. Copious flashing of lights got them moving, but they were still poking around, and were all over the road. A quick indicator and overtake soon put them out of sight.
And the third (Yaris) pulled out of a bus stop on a 50mph road just as I was barrelling towards her. And then did 35mph. Again, indicate and overtake.
*is a forty-year-old man using the word “gig” on a sadness word-search?
