I was just tidying up and rinsing the bottles out and noticed there was still some wine left and automatically finished it straight from the bottle.
It felt right.

This was me yesterday when I found they'd put up the price of Bank's Mild to £2.90 a pint. Thieving barstewards. Why are you buying that? Banks's has been bollockwash since they closed the Dudley brewery. Banks's does not travel, it is known. I'm working on my public image. I'm the old fella with the flat cap sat in the corner with his glass of mild. |

Oh my, Destry and MrTiddles will recall times in the Other Place when briefly, he was the Capybara Kid* and I was the old man sat in in an armchair in the corner with a half a pint. At that time, before BoJo's First Lockdown, the three of us would hoot into the Abyss in the Afterbox. The Abyss Arms was run down and always likely to slip into the Abyss, when Keef kicked it us out it finally did.  The Capybara Kid makes an entrance |
