How'd you know I wear a jacket and trousers with a nice wooly jumper as my preferred beach wear. A wonderful time was had by all.

This was me yesterday when I found they'd put up the price of Bank's Mild to £2.90 a pint. Thieving barstewards.

Morning,
Played a little Ass Creed Odyssey last night. It's good, but I can't seem to get a decent run at it. Battered some Wolves and some lads in a lumberyard.
We then watched an episode of Chestnut Man. 1 beer, no Wham bars. In fact it may be a confectionery free weekend due to supply chain issues.
School run shortly.

I saw Gruff Rhys last night as he opened his tour at the social club a short walk down the road. His solo stuff is a little on the weak side but the drummer was good and his use of signs was on point. No Furries songs were played.

My local library now has an online app called Libby that has a huge amount of magazines available. Music, computers, games, science, hobby's etc etc. Well worth a look if your library supports it. I'll never have to but a TV guide again.

Morning all.
I’m back in the office, working, for the first time since the initial lockdown in 2019. I’ve made a huge mistake.
TVblog: some Hairy Bikers.
OTTM: next-door’s party went on into the early hours. It quietened down a bit after midnight. But at 2AM, the girls still in attendance decided to have a sing along with some piano tune… I did not sleep well at all.

I understand assing an onion but to but a TV guide? libby seems to vary greatly depending on your council, might have to go back to physical books as not the best online offerings. I think crank said to pretend to live in Oxford for good selection?

As the photo shows it was quite a hip demographic in there.

I think crank said to pretend to live in Oxford for good selection? Libby is from Overdrive. Didn't know they were doing magazines now. My local library has Magster. Same idea, the books are a different app. The library I work in doesn't have Magster as our procurement folks are backwards bastards. Yeah Oxford has Magster / Overdrive or possibly Borrowbox and anyone can join. We have Borrowbox. Better UK author list than overdrive.

I am going to see Gruff in Oxford on Tuesday.
His most commercial post SFA album was Hotel Shampoo in 2008. The recent stuff is all low key. I presume he has made his money and is satisfied with filling 500 seat venues.
I'm slightly disappointed there is no tour for the Rings reissue. I saw them twice on the Radiator reissue tour. They are still excellent

I obviously won BDT too, as I was drinking in pubs until midnight. @win
Got an almighty hangover today though, which is making work fun.

I don't get hangovers. A bit of a dry throat, but nothing in the bonce region. I'm sure there is a reason for this.
OTTM: Still haven't updated my driving licence. Living life on the edge.

If this knocked on my door, I'd arm the MG Turret and get ready to bash it with my walking stick...

Work update: I’m still in the office.
I’ve now worked out how to book an EV parking space, so at least I’m not blocking a charger now. Charging my car to 100% for tomorrow’s trip to Dungeness on the company’s penny.
