Mornin' fuckoes.
Games - Mass Effect Legendary, started on Citadel DLC then it'll be onto the start of the endgame. TV - Started S3 of Brassic last night. Still very funny. Rinsed Ted Lasso after acquiring it in the rougher parts of the Web. I like it a lot. Life - No bad, both bairns are back settled into Uni again so just my wife and I and the two Collies.

Morning.
The Lad's acting the turd again this morning. Ranting about dark spirits and Ouija boards. Still, it's nice to know he's getting sufficient exercise by booting the walls of his flat.
Good lad.
OTTM: Woke up at 6am. Boo...

Listening to the The Kitchen Cabinet, where they're discussing stuffing vegetables I was reminded of the sketch that's imprinted on my memory

I opened the fridge this morning to discover half a can of beer from last night I thought I'd poured and drank. Was most annoyed at the waste. What with Cop26 and all that.
Hello. Gamez. Getting annoyed by a mission in BF:V. I need to blow up three radar posts and it resets if you die before doing all three. Unnecessarily annoying.
TV. The morning show.
Trying the new Japanese place up the road tonight for dinner.

Hello, Squid Gane ep3. It's quite good. I'm not sure it's quite the life changing, quasi religious experience people make it out to be though.
4* obvs.

And to balance the NP2 result, a draw in a Greek Diplomacy variant; I was playing as Byzantium (green). I'd had alliances pretty much the whole game with Macedonia (purple) and Persia (yellow). For the last 2 months, Persia and I had maintained a solid barrier in area 2 against Rhodes (blue). However, 2 weeks ago the original Rhodes had dropped out giving Mac the chance to wipe Athens and grabbing all Rhodes' Spartan centres - that meant Mac was only 5 centres away from victory. The critical move on the last turn [in area 1] was F(Thracian Sea) convoy A(Ilium)-Thrace so I could protect against moves to Thracian Sea, Thtace, Imbros and Skithos Sea. Otherwise Mac would have had a very good chance of winning. Macedonia and Persia are bloody good players... My rating is 1307, Mac's 2162, and Persia 1852. The original Rhodes was 1650 - I was the lowest ranked player and I'm more pleasant with this than the 73rd NP2 victory!

Good old Macca... say what you want about Alexander the Great but whenever he found himself in the Gulf of Maccedonia he got someone to proofread the map.

So the West Indies have set England's T20 team a target of 56 to win.
Could be doable.

Today has been a day of days.
Took pup to the vets for his first vaccinations. Took the needle like a champ.
Few prods and probes later we are told he has no balls. Not one. Nil. Nada.
We are discussing whether to change his name from Digby, to either Lady or Goebbels.

Afternoon all, and a special hello to the long-absent WeeCooper. Today, I have been to the blasted hellscape that is Dungeness. Lots of photos taken, and an average fish and chips eaten in a flat-roofed, post-war pub. It’s been a looong drive home.

Just had Japanese from the new place up the road. It was good. Though the Chicken Yakitori skewers were cold. As in out the fridge, not gone cold on delivery. I'm assuming this was a mistake and I've emailed to ask. The rest was great though. Rather dangerously it's next to one of the train stations I can get home.
Going to play some Ass Creed Odd in a bit and possibly watch 'Nobody' the Bob Odenkirk film.

I don't know if you like Jeff Wayne's "The War Of The Worlds", but the inestimable AudioPhil has recorded it in full from vinyl - the link to his playlist (it's 4 LPs) is below... War of the WorldsI particularly love "We drank and then he insisted upon playing cards. With our species on the edge of extermination, with no prospect but a horrible death, we actually played games" - here is the link
