Blade Runner 2049 is self-regarding and turgid. Six hours worth of pomposity squeezed into 3 hours of overblown claptrap with barely a moment of originality or artistic skill.

Morning.
Working on a Monday should be banned. It is only the prospect of a Friday off in repayment that has me at the desk today. My main man should be arriving onsite at any moment, although looking at his schedule he might not need me until tomorrow. Ho hum.
I have yet to see BR2049 as well, despite having it downloaded ready. For peak impact i'm waiting for a night when the PM is out, otherwise I have a stream of questions along the line of.....
Is he a robot?
Is *he* a robot?
What's a replicant?
Is she a replicant?
Why are they doing that?
Why don't they get a robot to do it?
PM is not a sci-fi or dystopian movie fan. It shows.

He's going to do other stuff too, which I physically can't Turns out that the other stuff was my Elgato capture box was somewhat the cause. So I let him get back to reversing the 8th w11 upgrade to w10 in a week. And so far this morning another 5 to do. The amazing thing is that most of these are SME's who neither have back up routines nor a fallback system, so when M$ fucks it up their business is wrecked. That was just noise |

Not yet, although the install option has now appeared. I will probably do it this week.

Appalled to see the GTA Trilogy so high up in the Eshop charts - I had a mild curiosity for it but no way I would have jumped right in. Amusing to see the Metacritic user scores across all platforms between 0.4 and a giddy 0.9. |
